I have the book The Record of G-1.0 and confirmed that the previsual renders using the model of Godzilla from Godzilla: Strike Zone and a 3D model of the NECA Godzilla 2019 figure are real (pp. 164-166) - https://x.com/GhostOfIDK/status/2055357021374087582?s=20

Thank you very much, I'll readd the information with the appropriate references.
You should check the email you used to sign up for this site :)
I got your email on the 28th, thanks, and I have replied. Have you emailed since then?
No, I'm afraid I never received your reply.
That's strange, it's in my sent items. It might have something to do with my family recently changing internet provider and so my primary email address is different compared to when I set up this account, I changed the email address listed on this site after I sent my reply. Would it work if you resent the email to my current email and I resend my reply and we continue from there?
Could be, I'll try again.
What do you think?
Looks pretty good to me though it would be good to get a third opinion from one of the admins as well. The only things I'd say it needs are (likely to be brief) development and origins sections (the former in regard to his existence in promoting Shin Godzilla and the latter if his origins are at all mentioned) and it might be worth having a section for episode 947B in the history section, even if it's just commenting on the episode being a rerun.
The only thing I want to ask is this: where did you find the episode he appears in?
I finished it off. Not sure how to put "this Godzilla looks like he's wearing heavy eyeliner" in scholarly terms though.
“Very prominently, his infraorbituls are slit at the bottom, giving him scar-like markings.” That’s how I put it. Did a little looking up. A more simplistic substitute for “infraorbituls” could be “tear troughs”.
Heard of “tell it animated?”
Yes but I'd forgotten about them so thanks for reminding me. I'll check out their Godzilla video to see if it's helpful in spotting the differences between the Heisei designs.
Oh believe me. The video is outdated, but they really catch the changes.
What you've written for Megalon basically works - we haven't done a lot of development on how those sections should look, and I would rather migrate things like movesets and stats to subpages of the video games. Now, it would be difficult to determine the exact percentage of health Megalon's lightning beam takes off, and I don't think that should be an impediment to the section existing. So you can use more general language for that. But what percentage, roughly, are we talking about? For larger amounts, I'd say providing a rough estimate is fine, as long as you're clear that it's an estimate. (And are those his only two attacks, or does he have other less dangerous moves? If it's the latter, you should mention them too.)
Alright, good to know I'm on the right track. From what I remember, the lightning beam took off about half of Godzilla's health but I'd have to check, I'll see if I can find a video or something. In terms of his attacks, he has the two I've already mentioned as well as firing the same number of bombs diagonally downward which can be more easily blocked with a tail-whip (mentioning it here in case I forget to update it).
Another thing I'd like to ask is that I wondered after I wrote the information if calling Megalon a "challenging boss" was too subjective or not. Some people may not find him as challenging so should it be changed to something else?
"Challenging" is probably too subjective, yeah. But if, say, his damage output is higher than most/all of the other bosses in that level, you could get a similar sentiment across.
Oops, I forgot about this. I might try to work on this again soon (probably for all the 1993 Game Boy kaiju rather than other games at the moment) and it's useful to know a basic idea of how to write these sections. I was also thinking another way to get the idea of difficulty across in a hopefully more objective way would be to write a strategy of sorts in that section (such as destroying projectiles through atomic breath or tail-whips), could that work?
Sure, give it a shot.
It’s been some time, but I have watched those two episodes on YT.
Alright, thanks for telling me.
Have I forgotten something?
The Wikizilla page for the 5th issue of Rage Across Time mentions a battle between Godzilla and Anguirus in both the plot summary and the trivia section of the page as it is apparently a reference to a scrapped version of GMK. However, I don't actually have the comic series (I only have The Half-Century War, the first 4 issues and issue 10 of Rivals and a Here There Be Dragons issue) so it's easily possible that I'm wrong. If I am, feel free to revert that edit of mine.
When I say ways of communicating, I meant talk pages (both for users and the pages themselves) and the forums. No plans to make y'all sign up for this social media site or that. I vastly prefer the smaller communities that defined the old Internet - good moderation just isn't possible on the scale of a Facebook or a YouTube. But this community is undeniably getting bigger, and our fairly lax, seat-of-our-pants moderation isn't cutting it anymore.
Ok good to know. I also forgot that individual pages have talk pages so I'll try to remember that in the future.
Are there any pages which need sandboxes but don't have them yet? I ask because I'd happy to make the necessary sandboxes.
Yes! As a matter of fact, these include several Skull Island episodes, characters and creatures.
All of the Skull Island episodes and major monsters are sandboxed here and here.
To answer the initial question, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but making more sandboxes is kind of counterproductive. The goal is to be actively working on turning them into real pages instead of continuing to make more and more of them. If you'd like to help with writing, you can see a full list here or here.
Okay thanks for the info. I'll look through those pages and see what I could do.
Why did Wikizilla stop working yesterday?
A major issue with our hosting provider. Not one likely to recur, fortunately (had to do with physical infrastructure).
Thanks, good to know it (hopefully) won't happen again.
