The Dragon (竜 Ryū) is a kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in the 1987 tokusatsu fantasy film, Princess from the Moon.
Name
Although usually only referred to as Dragon (竜 Ryū) in most media, the creature is listed as Sea Dragon (海竜 Kairyū) on page 227 of the Japanese book All Toho Monsters Pictorial Book, as well as its table of contents.[1]
