Suko is a juvenile ape Titan[4] appears in the 2024 Legendary Pictures film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
Name
Suko, perhaps coincidentally, is a Filipino word for "surrender." The name was first revealed on the packaging of Playmates' Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire toys.[7]
In the film's trailer, Bernie Hayes refers to Suko as a "mini Kong". Director Adam Wingard also offered the nickname Baby Kong during IGN Fan Fest 2024, misquoting the line from the trailer.[1]
Design
Suko is a bipedal primate similar to Kong, but with orange fur not unlike that of the Skar King. He has green irises and a scar over his right eye.
Personality
According to the packaging for his Playmates figure, Suko is a "scrappy fighter [...] with a bad attitude who always has Kong's back."[7]

Trivia
- Despite him appearing to be younger than Kong was in Kong: Skull Island, Suko is at least 45 feet taller than Kong was in that movie.
- Suko is the third juvenile ape to appear in a King Kong film, after Kiko in Son of Kong and Baby Kong in King Kong Lives. However, while both of those characters were sons of Kong, Suko has no apparent biological relation to him.
- It is likely he is a adoptive son of Kong rather than a biological son.
- Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire's initial rumored title was Son of Kong (taken from the aforementioned film), referencing Suko.
- A product description for Playmates' Suko with Titanus Doug Figure Set calls Doug Suko's ally, although they never interact in the film.[3]
