According to the Japanese Wikipedia, All Toho Monsters Pictorial Book says 未制作映画『ネッシー』の原型が流用された。The prototype of the unproduced film Nessie was diverted. Is this true? - K14 (talk) 4:33, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

- That picture is unrelated. The book makes no such claim. There's a quote from Nobuyuki Yasumaru where he mentions he based the Dragon's face on that of the Nessie prototype he made years prior. He goes on to mention that a full prop was never made for the Dragon, just the neck since that was all that would be needed. There's no suggestion that the Nessie prototype was reused, and that notion is frankly kind of silly. The Dragon prop was a pretty substantially-sized mechanized puppet - all that's known to have been created for Nessie is a small maquette. Les (main | talk) 23:06, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
