Ikechiyo began life as a pet goldfish, whose owner's love reincarnated her as a benevolent yokai called an Onbake, capable of taking human disguise. She is a major player in the 2010 television series Daimajin Kanon.

Daimajin Kanojo
After the defeat of the Ipadada, Ikechiyo went out disguised as a human named Nao Nagasawa with fellow Onbake Kirinoha and Hashitaka and visits a a water park, and a ryokan inn in Tokyo.
