Sandbox talk:Mechagodzilla (Kai-Sei Era)

Proposal for renaming

I think it would make more sense to title this sandbox/page "Mechagodzilla (Kai-Sei Era)" rather than "S.S. Mechagodzilla" and make the latter a redirect when/if this page is promoted. It's an incarnation page, it's easier to search for or link to, and neither name is actually used in the comic itself if I'm correct (most of the sources I've looked at actually use Mechagodzilla rather than S.S. Mechagodzilla (references 1-3, 5 and 7 on the Starship Godzilla page)). That is a good point to bring up. While Robogodzilla is used for SP Mechagodzilla, that the name that is favored. Based on what you said about how the names are used for Kai-Sei, it might indeed be better to call it "Mechagodzilla (Kai-Sei Era)", and list S.S. That sounds reasonable enough to me, I only titled the page as the S.S. Mechagodzilla since I prefer to call the incarnations by the names that they are stated to have like how Kiryu is well Kiryu. But yeah that sounds good to me. ~ Plasmilio (talk) 17:08, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
