did you watch Death Note, not shusuke kaneko's death note, the 2017 Netflix movie?
Topic on User talk:Astounding Beyond Belief
Unfortunately, yes.
If Godzilla vs Kong is like Death note, what will your reaction be,you'll like it?
Aside from being adaptations of Japanese stories, they're really not comparable in any way. I'm also quite curious as to what you think "unfortunately" means.
Can someone fill me in here? What was it about his Death Note movie that got everyone so ticked off? I'm not an anime/Death Note fan, so I wouldn't know.
Wikipedia's blurb for the main character about sums it up: "[T]his version of Light lacks much of the ruthless, sadistic and sociopathic tendencies of his original manga counterpart and is depicted in a more sympathetic and humanised light."
Adam is a horror film director, every fan are worried that he's going to make Godzilla vs Kong "Edgey".
You've polled all of them? Anyways, Dougherty came from a horror background too.
I've not personally heard anyone worry that GvKong is going to come out "edgy," more that it's just not going to be good :P
I'll be happy if we actually get the damn film at this pace
Agreed. It's being pushed back so much that I wonder how people haven't compared it to anime like One-Punch Man and Attack on Titan (Both had their second season delayed for years and it just so happens that this is Kong's second movie in the MonsterVerse).
What? The release date hasn't been postponed once yet; in fact, it's moved up twice.
I know, but I'm talking about the trailer.
I've not seen any official release dates for that, only "rumors" (i.e. guesses presented with confidence).
I usually don't even look at rumors or leaks let alone trust them until they've been confirmed by the director or producer etc.
Wait, what trailer dates were you talking about then?
Any of them.
I... don't understand why you suddenly railed against rumors then? That's all we have for a Godzilla vs. Kong trailer, unless I missed something.
Unlike Adam,Dougherty worked on Xmen united, superman returns and Xmen Apocalypse. These movies are outside of the Horror genre.
So would you have feared Dougherty wouldn't be able to direct a proper horror movie before he made Trick 'r Treat? What a terribly limited view of creative people.
Didn't he make Krampus?
After Trick 'r Treat, yes.
No,what I mean is that there's a difference between Dougherty and Wingard.Dougherty also likes superhero films, but Adam didn't work on any film, outside of the horror genre.
you see what I mean.
I don't know why you ignored my last reply while repeating yourself, but it sure doesn't make me inclined to continue this conversation.
