Wait Why was my marked for deletion removed? the comic has about as much relevance to the site as Nemesis does from what i saw having a company conection no longer counts for some reason suddenly.
On top of that the comic has no direct company or creator conections to my knowledge anyway and i thought being a "homage" isnt enough either anymore.
Editing a page to say it should be deleted is not how those conversations should start.
Kaijumax has multiple major characters who pay homage to other kaiju (off the top of my head, Godzilla, Minilla, Gamera, Pigmon, and the Gargantuas, and I'm a few arcs behind), and is possibly denser with overall references than Rulers of Earth. It's a wiki's dream. I will be quite stubborn about it staying unless someone else who has read it persuasively weighs in. As for Nemesis - I was not on board with removing those pages, and consequently I can't really tell you what the line is right now.

the line for what content is and isn't allowed is becoming very confusing and even Frustrating honestly for a few of us.
but i did thought references and being based on something wasn't enough to warrant a page anymore on top of the comic not being produced by any related companies

for context on Nemesis i was trying to make a sandbox for the upcoming Nemesis TV show because it was a Sony production and I assumed we covered related companies Kaiju related productions since the Kaiju Score film also has a page but the nemesis series sandbox got removed under the pretense that it wasn't Toho from my understanding despite thinking before that it would be ok because it has studio connection's.
The line has never been only Toho, or else we wouldn't have Gamera or King Kong. The announcement of the Nemesis show prompted discussion about the other content from the franchise we had on the site, and the majority of us agreed they were too irrelevant and their pages were too underdeveloped for it to be worth keeping them. The only "studio connection" to the show is Sony (quite literally Japan's largest technology conglomerate, mind you) having distributed kaiju movies before. They're hardly a company known for producing kaiju media. In general, adding every new vaguely-relevant thing that comes out is just creating more projects that will never be adequately finished.
Except i was going to finish the sandbox before you deleted it i was busy while trying to make it.
and thats not what i saw what was said it was flat out rejected because of no toho despite numerous non toho media here.
Late response couldn't formulate but i honestly dont see how the Nemesis show is less Relevant to something like a few films on the site that are simply homages
i am aware that sony is massive but i felt that was connective tissue..while i doubt any minds will be changed but i think we should wait before we cast final judgement on the series.
I'm not talking about the sandbox, I'm talking about the eventual page for the show. Who's going to watch it and make pages for all the episodes with synopses? We simply don't have the moderation or userbase to be creating all of these pages without neglecting the content that's core to the site's focus. I'd much prefer to work on Godzilla & co.
i still fail to see what's the deal with kaijumax being here aside from homages and references which its not created by any related companies or staff to my knowledge plus kaijumax in of itself seems pretty Neglected.
I'm just saying it just doesn't make sense to me and some other users that one reasoning for rejection is another's reason to be added.
there really should be a more consistent line to be drawn because frankly i do feel confused over this.
I personally always think "is it relevant to Godzilla or does it open the flood gates to other stuff?" Kaijumax is stuffed with references to Godzilla and Gamera, plus we already have other pages for spoofs and homages so why not Kaijumax? On the other hand, while I would love to have Nemesis stuff here, where do we draw the line? Are any kaiju novels allowed? Only famous ones? (If you were wondering, Colossal Kaiju Combat stays because it is by some of the same team as the Pipeworks Trilogy)
This wasnt about the Nemesis novels it was about the upcoming Nemesis TV series but i think a factor on why it was shot down is theres already tons of unfinished pages on the site piling up before any serious discussion about that can begin if im not interpretation it wrong
but i do think there should be a more clear line on content
Fair. I do think the delete flair should be used less and not be used for complete page without a discussion.
