Should the Locations template include video games? Not just for the inclusion of the general JP / US cities, but also of the occasional place that isn't that.

Also how come no flags? Sorry for bombarding the wiki with them, but Im just curious for the reason.

I think the locations template just kinda sucks in general and needs an update like the vehicles one.

If a large number of changes is required, I recommend ordering the locations in each section by alphabetical order. Organizing these cities and especially landmarks becomes much easier

The flags were, more than anything, a formatting nightmare. I agree that the Locations template needs an overhaul though; sorting by eras leads to a ton of redundancies. Coincidentally, staff have been working on a scope for locations which we should be ready to introduce soon...

Fair, the flags did look horrible on the page itself.

Also re:flags, we already have the template {{Flag}} which is loaded with world flags. An idea I had to make use of them was to create a country infobox that could include the flag in the corner or something, like the trademark icons on the kaiju infobox.

I would like to make a sandbox page for a proposal for this infobox, if it is okay

I'm starting to go through the new location pages, and while I think it's great that we're filling in the world, some of them have tense issues and glaring typos that should have been caught before they were promoted from sandboxes. This isn't a race; please don't rush.

Apologies. I'll re-visit them again and correct the mistakes.

Also, while it's fine to derive location summaries from existing story summaries, simply copying them over can result in excessive detail, e.g. the Godzilla Rivals: Mothra Vs. Hedorah section of the Iceland page.

More errors abounded on the Spain page. Please take note of the feedback I left.

Should I delete all map appearances that Ive counted for other countries then?

Yes, please. Things particularly interesting (like the Monarch bases) can be moved to trivia though.

Two new points:

1) Since there's a new locations template, should we start replacing the old one with it? Or are we still working on it, if so, what's left?

2) The Infobox proposal from earlier - I am not sure whether the code is working or not on that one. Once it does, when we can start implementing it?

1. Not done, no. Right now it only includes real Earthen countries; it's missing landmarks, landforms (like mountains and bodies of water), fictional countries, and other planets. Also the pages listed therein are based on a new Scope proposal which is still pending and subject to change.
2. Once we've nailed down what all will qualify for pages, I'll take a look at revising your infobox.

One last query: for the countries whose Sandbox pages are finished (properly, with both your qualifications from the Spain edit and the new locations proposal), are there any further processes to happen before they can be upgraded to pages? Would you like the staff (i.e. admins like you and ABB) to review it first, and if so, should I leave them to be upgraded to pages by the staff themselves?

It would be ideal for us to review them first, yes. Last time the sheer number of pages was a bit overwhelming.
