Hello there! I was wanting to ask about how to best handle mentioning that Shimo would be the second tallest kaiju in the Godzilla Franchise of confirmed height, behind Godzilla Earth at 300 meters, and Godzilla’s tallest foe of confirmed height as well. When I wrote it down, I was trying to write it in relation to how Godzilla Earth’s trivia section was, and ran into mention of Magita (who only has estimates for her height and hence why I did not mention her initially). If this would not be acceptable, then that’s fine, but it does seem interesting.

In honesty, I don't know if there's any interesting observation to be made. She is verifiably not among the top 3 largest Godzilla monsters even if you exclude Godzilla himself; Tiamat, Na Kika, and anime Ghidorah are all longer. (I think it would be disingenuous to disqualify those just because it's a measurement of length and not height. If Ghidorah positioned itself upright, for example, it would still be miles 'taller' than Shimo.) And then as you said, there are creatures without confirmed measurements who are still certainly taller, so she's not even within the top 5.
The absolute most generous trivia item I can come up with is that she's "the second-largest opponent of Godzilla to appear in a film." Significantly less interesting than what was composed initially. I don't know if something with that many caveats is even worth mentioning.

Also, as an aside, not even sure if the Monsterverse portion of her trivia will survive, if the rumors about Tiamat are true.

Gordon: "What's happening?"
Miyuki: "It's absorbing Godzilla's power!"
Gordon: "Cover Godzilla!"
Ozaki puts his hand on the Maser lever.
Miyuki: "Wait! That thing can absorb Godzilla's power. G-particles won't work. Shoot Godzilla!"
Ozaki: "Godzilla?"
Miyuki: "Yes! Hurry!"
Ozaki takes aim at Godzilla.
Komuro: "It's no use! The circuits are blown from the shock earlier. The Maser can't be fired."
However, as Ozaki psychs himself up with his hand on the lever, the Maser begins to charge.
Ozaki: "Aaaaaaaaah!"
230 Godzilla vs. Monster X (night)
The Gotengo's Maser begins to charge.
The charge reaches its peak and a G-Maser is fired.
The G-Maser hits Godzilla.
Godzilla's eyes glow white.
Godzilla was powered up from being bathed in G-particles!
Overloaded, sparks fly from Monster X's fangs.
I would have to look elsewhere in the script to see what a "G-particle" is, but it might've been an early name for M-base?

Hey, just to show you, here are her white/cream-colored stripes and patterns.
I honestly still don't see it. What you're describing as "stripes" just look like highlights to me. Maybe there's something with the topmost panel in Comic Stripes.png, but they aren't consistent across panels. She seems to have green in her mouth tentacles too, but then that's gone in the bottom panel.
Bernie's face there has a similar effect, with lines and splotches of color to indicate light and shading. But I wouldn't call him "striped" lol.
I've gone and circled what are obvious reflections and traced with red what I think are her stripes. Honestly the reason I believe it is because (if we assume some other crustaecean isn't going to show up in Rome) the same coloration is visible on her leg in the trailer shot, and it looks way too close to some coloration on a few crabs and nautiluses. The stripes on her back legs shrouded in dust feel way to bold for shading. If this doesn't convince, oh well, but figured I'd give it one more shot.
I will defintely agree with the fact that the art in this comic was not consistant at all though, which doesn't make it easy to determine much when there are earlier panels that lack the percieved patterns :/
I agree that there's some kind of deliberate choice in the way her body is being colored, but it's impossible to tell if it's meant to be literally part of her exoskeleton or just the way that the sun is reflecting off of it. And I still wouldn't describe them as stripes anyhow.
If you go to the penultimate page of the Godzilla storyline (I assume you have the PDF), it suddenly looks like she has lime green patterns instead of white, and they're not at all the same shape or in the same locations as that topmost panel in the image you attached. I really don't think we should commit to saying it's a part of her design.
They're likely nothing more than just highlights, as Les pointed out. I doubt Scylla will end up being a zebra once the movie is released.
I just noticed that there's lately been a lot of accounts spamming to external sites. This is a kaiju wiki, nobody cares about airlines or marketing or whatever. Since they all cover similar topics and frequently make appearances, I suspect that these accounts are coming from the same individual. Surely, there has to be a way to block their IP address, right?
These look like spam accounts; ABB commented on the Wikizilla page that this has happened in the past. I was worried at first too, but it should be fine.

I agree with Les here. While I personally believe that they're probably members of Kong's species, the fact that the line is so noticeably edited is kind of suspicious. Trailers and advertisements can be deceptive, hell for Rouge One they out right created a Tie-Fighter to appear in a scene soley for the marketing. I think it's best to wait for concrete confirmation on this one.
That spot would seem to frame it as referring to Suko, but you can also tell the line is heavily edited. I really think we should just wait for the movie to come out.
What about "The Great Apes"? When she said that, the trailer framed Kong, wasn't she talking about his species there?

It's saying there "To be continued in GxK:TNE" before their fight, how exactly this doesn't confirm that she'll be in the movie? I don't think the movie will just ignore a big monsters battle in a city like that
