Fuhito (FUHITO~不比等~[a],   Fuhito) is a 2006 Japanese TV pilot produced by toy company WiZ, puppet maker Studio Nova, and special effects production company Dream Planet Japan. Commissioned by WiZ toy designer Kenji Watanabe with the vision of fusing tokusatsu, puppetry, and CGI, its special effects were directed by Dream Planet Japan president Koichi Kawakita. The pilot was hoped to spawn a two-season television series, comic adaptation, and recap movie, but none ever materialized. It continued to be pitched unsuccessfully as late as 2012.

Kawakita would nonetheless realize a tokusatsu-puppetry fusion with his 2007 series Kawaii! JeNny, which was produced by Dream Planet Japan with funding from Toho and JeNny doll manufacturer Takara Tomy. The style of doll puppet from Fuhito was also reused for a 2008 television series entitled Dolly Variety, which Watanabe organized through WiZ with the help of Studio Nova. Watanabe would go on to depart from WiZ and form his own company WOW FACTORY in 2015, through which he sells "Visuadoll" toys based on the Dolly Variety cast.

Watanabe posted the full pilot to his YouTube channel on February 7, 2015. It was also screened at the Kyoto Minami Kaikan theater on April 25 and 26 of that year as part of a film festival held by Cast.
