- 10 April: Construction of the Godzilla Head on the 8th floor terrace of the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is finished. The hotel itself, as well as the rest of the Shinjuku Toho Building, is opened to the public.
- 21 April: The mobile game Godzilla Kaiju Collection is released.
July
- 14 July: Bandai Namco's Godzilla is released in North America.
- 15 July: The first issue of Godzilla in Hell is released.
- 17 July: Bandai Namco's Godzilla is released in Europe.
- 23 July: The discovery of Kepler-452b, a rocky exoplanet in orbit around the star Kepler-452, is announced by NASA, having been identified and discovered by the Kepler Space Telescope.[1]
