  • Days before retirement, Houston Brooks receives a coded message from his son, revealing new information about Kong's origins and his role in Skull Island. (Skull Island: The Birth of Kong)[1]
  • Corah Mateo is recruited by Brenda Holland to work for Applied Experimental Technologies. (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters)
  • Rawa attacks Tokyo, shrugging off all military resistance and approaching the OtomaTEC corporation's headquarters. Before Rawa can destroy the skyscraper, Gigaman arrives, much to the delight of some news reporters. After besting Rawa in combat, Gigaman turns towards the reporters and entertains the press. Unbeknownst to the hero, Rawa emerges from the smoke and uses his Decimate: Supernova ability before Gigaman can stop him, annihilating the surrounding area and killing everyone in the vicinity. Among the dead is Megumi Otoma, wife of OtomaTEC CEO Kazuo Otoma and mother of future Thundatross pilot Yuuki Otoma. Distraught by his defeat and grieving Megumi's death, Gigaman abruptly retires, forcing Japan to turn to the GTDI for Titan defense. (GigaBash)
