i feel this is pretty much finished it probably should be on the site given its direct influence on The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms which in turn influenced the Godzilla franchise as well as being an influence on Howl from Beyond the Fog im not good at seeing if there's any grammar issues left.

Im fully aware but honestly i don't see why it shouldn't be on the site given the reasons i listed in the OP

it domino effecting leading to the creation of godzilla seems like a big deal to me.

The book from which The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms is based is not as important as you make it sound. It was not a significant inspiration for the original Godzilla film.

You literally just said the very thing that its directly based on isn't important which makes zero sense.

The page needs work, but I'm fine with it existing - you've got the 20,000 Fathoms connection and the Howl from Beyond the Fog connection. (Plus another short film Daisuke Sato directed in 2007 called The Fog Horn, which was more directly based on the story.)

I corrected a few grammatical errors.

^^^^In other words, the story was the basis for The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms was an influence on Godzilla, not the book.

Random question

should the sea monster in the story be treated as being the same as Rhedosaurus given it originally was titled The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms or should it be treated as its own separate entity?

I think it's probably fair to treat them as the same.

So should Rhedos first appearance be updated as well as include info relating to the fog horn on its page?
