Then bring it up with a beurocrat. I personally think the first game alone is fine, and they have let this sandbox keep on going so far. I feel as though the first rule pretty much outright says that it's okay, as I am also fairly sure the movie was based off of the first game as well.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to cover the entire franchise, because it's only my first article, and I do not know how to get it approved, so I'm just leaving it as a sandbox, and I hope it gets completed by anyone (including myself, I'm trying to make it) so I can publish it.

That's what I mean. The only article regarding the games will be the one I'm working on, at least for now, but it's not finished, due to some stuff like me not knowing how to put citations or getting articles approved, so I need help.

No there literally is no reason to feature the whole franchise i literally said that in the first post.

And why not? This whole wiki is about giant monsters, and the article I'm making is based on a game about giant monsters, so I don't see why not.

Yes, and it says I could make articles based on the three main monsters of the page, or other miscellaneous stuff, but not articles about things that have nothing to do, sooo..

In a clear response, keep making the page for the first game, and don't make any other pages for the rest of the franchise. The movie's special features (if I remember correctly) say that it is mainly based off of the first game, so it it probably fine to cover that. However, the rampage franchise has a dedicated wiki and the movie was not based off of the whole series, so we would not cover the entire franchise.

speaking of rampage i feel the monster pages really need to be looked at again.

Ok. I will continue making the article, because it's based on monster movies with stop motion, and because the movie got covered; in fact, the reason I made the article is because it made 0 sense to me that there was a page for the movie but not for the game, and I will not continue, is that a good choice?

Well first the article needs to be finished (Most of the time; sometimes articles are approved and have an Under Construction template), then you move it to a new page without the Sandbox title.

How do I move it to a new page?

Simply click the "Move" tab and you will see a screen asking you for New Title (click the "(Main)" option) and the current title that will be changed (simply type the new title in place of the old one).

@Hedorah's caravan How many videos are you planning to add? I ask because if it is only a couple, a video gallery is not needed.

Though George was inspired by King Kong, Rampage isn't officially an adaptation of the King Kong franchise or any of his films; that's what the "based on" language in the scope rules is referring to. We didn't include games that inspired films that the site covers because there are only two of them and the Monster Hunter credits strangely suggest the film was based on the original game. I don't think we have any business covering that one regardless. The scope rules for other non-film media haven't been drawn up yet, but I expect there to be other restrictions on covering source material. For instance, we won't be covering the Attack on Titan manga, even though Toho's live-action films and miniseries are based on it; just wouldn't be practical.

However, there were four tie-in games for the Rampage movie, and those are all fine to make pages for.
