Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

If you can swipe the Gorath description from an archive.org video, you can watch the movie and write your own summary. Next time's a ban.

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

it's technically not plagerism if the original combines elements from the Wikipedia page which one phrase is word by word. And don't get me started on all the other copies I have found on multiple plagerised phrase on every single article.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

God help your teachers. And by all means, get started on documenting any plagiarism elsewhere on the site, but don't use it to excuse your own.

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

the artice for Rodan (film) is straight plagerism compare your article to the one on Wikipedia. And stop creating pathetic reasons.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Yes, it looks like there are a number of sections in the plot that need to be reworded, although it's significantly longer than the one on Wikipedia and the rest of the article is original work. What else?

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

You seen the Japanese version of Gorath? If so, I would like to see you try to complete its plot section.

The H-Man (talkcontribs)

I've been putting off re-watching (and doing summaries thereof) BIOS and Gorath ever since I did the same for The Mysterians some time back. I don't see what should be so hard about writing a synopsis that doesn't involve stealing someone else's work. Just watch the movie and succinctly write what happens in it.

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

listen kid I am not going to listen to pathetic excuses. You people don't seem to understand that anything without copyright names or request not to use them from the original creator of said thing. And besides I will give credit where credit is do.

The H-Man (talkcontribs)

Lol OK. Good luck in college.

When did I make an excuse?

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

You people still don't understand who you are talking to. I go under the name Dan Moroboshi, which is based on the character of the same name. In the 2019 anime ULTRAMAN. For my little tolerance for people who think they are the so-called adults.

The H-Man (talkcontribs)

OK whatever, but good luck with your plagiarizing when you get into the real world.

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

Did I say "adults"? I mean wise-guy.

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

the U.S. TV versions' run time on Scf-Fi channel has the film at 89 minutes. And in my opinion that should be added to the pages profile's running time.

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Treating a TV edit as the definitive U.S. version is silly when the uncut dub came out on DVD a year later. But I do have a copy of it, so it might be worth chronicling what Sci-Fi cut out; same for Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (which I don't have) and Rebirth of Mothra III.

AngiraBlu (talkcontribs)

GvMegaguirus runs for about 1 hour 46 minutes and 2 seconds/106 minutes and 2 seconds. (Wikipedia says 105, but mine shows otherwise).

Astounding Beyond Belief (talkcontribs)

Yeah, that needs changing. I... am not sure why you mentioned it here though.

AngiraBlu (talkcontribs)

I dunno. Just saw someone mentioning GMK and I came runnin'.

The H-Man (talkcontribs)

Be careful of runtimes from DVDs and Blu-rays released by TriStar. Except for GXM and GFW, I think the TriStar logo (20+ seconds) was attached to the beginning of every Godzilla DVD they released. That should count towards the runtime for versions created by TriStar (in this case definitely G2K & arguably their abbreviated original releases of the '90s films) but IMO it should be subtracted from DVDs of what are otherwise Toho's export versions (GMK through "Tokyo SOS" & their five Showa DVDs). Perhaps site policy is different but that's what makes the most sense to me.

Additionally, I think the initial "U.S. version" runtimes listed at Toho Kingdom for GXM and GMK were the ones I timed for them in 2004 or so. Their policy, at least at that time, was to use the first wide release of a film in the U.S. as the initial U.S. version. SciFi scheduled them twice each prior to Sony's February 2004 DVD releases. Not that my opinion carries much weight but FWIW I'm with Astounding: the edited-for-TV versions shouldn't constitute separate U.S. versions.

Good to know!

Godzilla vs Kong

Toho Eizo Films (talkcontribs)

There is supposedly an article saying that a member at Toho was talking about Mechagodzilla's appearance in Godzilla vs Kong or in future films within the Monsterverse. If any body knows anything about the "truth" in this claim let me know. In the meantime I will take a look into the subject in question.

Any assistance I give is within reason of how it is played out specifically the plot that was reverted on Prophecies of Nostradamus is how the story is layed out statement by statement.

Les (talkcontribs)

Your edit(s) were reverted for improper grammar. Changing Hundreds of youth commit suicide to while hundreds of youth committing suicide is fundamentally grammatically incorrect. It was rolled back for that reason.

Same goes for changing prophecies that predict to prophecies that predicts.
