Detragon (デットラゴン is a Dettoragon)Terror-Beast kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in the episode 14 of the 1973 tokusatsu kaiju series, Zone Fighter titled Rampage! The Garoga Boys Attack Force.
Design
Detragon resembles a Doberman Pinscher, but also has traits of an Anubis dog. Detragon possesses red eyes and has two light blue crescent-shaped ears. Instead of hands he has two yellow turrets extending out of each silver wrist socket.
Origins
According to Toho Special Effects: All Kaiju Illustrated Encyclopedia, Detragon was born on Planet Garoga, the same homeworld as the Garogas.[2]

Abilities
Physical abilities
Detragon stomped a building and swiped at the remaining rubble. During his fight with Zone Fighter, Detragon shoved away the hero after being attacked and grappled the hero during a scuffle.
Missiles
Detragon can fire red explosive missiles from his four gold-fingered tubes. When the missiles detonate, they make extremely large explosions. They fly at a moderate speed, but can be caught by opponents and thrown back towards Detragon, as demonstrated by Zone Fighter when he caught both missiles during the third volley of them. The hero easily rolled out of the way of the first volley. When the missiles are not in use, they are stored inside of Detragon's body.[2]

According to All Kaiju Kaijin (First Volume), Detragon's eyes are actually telescopes and can adjust his eyesight at will, "from a range of 10 centimeters to infinity itself."[2]
Durability
Detragon was able to endure many blows from Zone Fighter, with the most impressive feats being a Meteor Kick to the head, and a two-handed Meteor Slice Chop which cut off his hands. He was finally defeated after being shot by Zone Fighter's Meteor Missile Might, falling over and exploding after the attack ended.
