Hi ABB, I looked at the Shin Ultraman page and in the Kaiju section it says that Gomess and a bunch of other Ultra Q Kaiju make an appearence in the film, as well as Gomess bearing a similar design to Shin Godzilla. I dont know if this is true in the film or not.

I did find the said Concept art in the art book and it looks sort of silly but really cool, now I wonder if all those monsters are in the final product and I did see the guide book featuring Ultraman fighting *SPOILER* M Alien (saying that just in case if it does happen)

All of the new monsters/aliens added to the Appearances section were confirmed via pictures of the movie's theater program.

Sweet, Gomess is one of my all time favorite Ultra Kaiju, another cool thing, it feels like its trying to tie into Ultraman's original concept, where he was meant to be in a episode of Ultra Q.

On the topic of Shin Ultraman, do think there should be pages for the Ultras and kaiju that appear?

Lets wait and see if the Ultra Wiki does anything first, because it is a Tsuburaya property as well.

I highly doubt we will put other Ultra stuff here. Even just for Shin Ultra, that's a lot of new stuff and there's a very likely chance the Ultra wiki will cover it. We don't need to put in the work and effort for something you can find easily.

I would've been on board with just covering this film's versions of Ultraman, Neronga, and Gabora, but with all the other kaiju/seijin now confirmed to be in it, probably best to let Ultra Wiki handle it.

Minor Spoilers but only Ultraman, Gabora, Neronga, Zarab, Mefilas and Zetton (and maybe Zoffy) have major roles the Ultra Q kaiju are minor opening montage kaiju that appear at the start of the movie.

So i think those Six (or Seven maybe) are still viable.

EDIT forgot Zarab.

So perhaps we could do the main kaiju, and the minor ones can go on list of minor monsters?

Thats what i was insinuating at but i would like a direct answer from astounding.

I personally don't want us to cover the monsters. I think it should be handled in the same way as the Pacific Rim movies.

Im not sure but i havent checked but doesnt the AOT wiki cover the live action incarnations?

And in all honesty i dont think comparing this to the Pacrim wiki ks all that great given how utterly dead it seems.

Ultra Wiki is far more active than the Pacific Rim one, so I'd say it's actually quite a generous comparison.

I would personally be fine with offloading the Attack on Titan stuff to its own wiki, too.

The only issue i think is the ultra wiki wouldnt go into in depth detail (behind the scenes development and triva) about the shin incarnations from what i recall on how that wiki is.

I do have one theory, Shin Ultraman (Ultra) has no timer because, this is before they started grafting color timers to the Showa Ultraman. before anyone says hows it possible if its in a different universe, Most Ultra's protect different planets and alternate earth's.

I still think these specific incarnations should be covered here aswell, same goes with the monster hunter creatures, like if they were then it would be redirected to the monster hunter wiki

I agree the shin ultra kaiju and ultras should get pages but

The Monster Hunter creatures got pages because the MH wiki doesnt cover their roles and history they play in the film just the creatures general gameplay and ecology.

Rathalos and Diablos are still missing propper pages as well.

The Shin Ultra Kaiju and Ultra's have pages on the Ultra Wiki, Ultra Kaiju with there original counter parts and Ultraman (shin) has his own page and Zoffy doesnt have one but will be added at some point

My only issue with ultraman wiki covering it is i dont think they will give an In-depth description of these incarnations development or concept art.

Thats not what im talking about i mean in depth behind the scenes stuff and featuring more than two pieces of concept art.

As someone who tries to use the Ultra Wiki for info quite a lot, I'll have to agree with Zillaman. There's barely any information on series development on the site and the few pages dedicated to unmade content that do exist are nothing more than stubs.

I really just dont think relying on the Ultraman Wiki over this is that great of an idea.

same goes for the anime/manga pages on there they are behind on a good chunk of chapters

Most of the Manga pages are backed up by chapters because, there still being released or made.
