Kaiju no 14 said he was willing to allow the giant monsters wiki to cover the film can the page, monster profile and gallery be temp restored just to migrate the stuff it had on it over there?
Id also like to help Improve the site over there as well such as fix load times and various other fixs but im not sure how i feel it has potential to be good but it doesn't seem like many want to be onboard for it
That site has no relation to Wikizilla and I frankly don't care what happens with it. Last I checked it steals a significant amount of our templates and plagiarizes our articles.

I implore you to stop creating categories without consulting anyone first.
I said on the Apceros talk page that I don't see much use in it. Other people should agree on it either way. Not to mention you're shoving wildly different concepts of "other dimensions," "alternate timelines" and "parallel universes" under one category. With that broad a definition, most of the characters from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah could fall under that category. The origins of the monsters from Singular Point are also incredibly unclear.
Give me a single line from the show where they confirm Salunga, Anguirus, Manda, Rodan, or Godzilla Ultima come from another "dimension" and I'll believe you. I think you're making this out to be way simpler than it actually is; the show is unbelievably confusing and does not explain any of its concepts with certainty. There's also evidence that Archetype exists in our universe because Ashihara was studying a species of jellyfish that contained Red Dust. You could speculate "those jellyfish came from another reality" but that doesn't make it canonical. I think it's best not to make assumptions with a show that can be interpreted a hundred different ways.
There was one scene that said Singular Points seem to originate from other universes
I dont think the show is supposed to spoonfeed the viewer you are supposed to like put together pieces the show sets out
But maybe if it was to ever get a second season they will elaborate more.
Instead of a category if thats not allowed could a page about the concept of multiverse/alternate dimensions i feel we have enough pieces of media on the site now that showcases the concept and we have a page for blood so..
I will say that it is true that the origins of the Singular Point monsters are ambiguous, archetype itself is said to be multiversal/multi dimensional intersecting into different realms. its not said whether that's alternate Earths or just dimensions in general if its the latter that would classify them as multi dimensional and Extra-Terrestrial.
I would say the Futurians and the Pacific Rim aliens are a great example and comparison. The Futurians are clearly characters that originate from Earth just in a potential far future, while the PR aliens are beings that didn't originate from Earth but also exist in a different dimension.
I agree with you both that the categories require consultation, and that it is time to look into the categories and settle on new specialized and general categories for the new media
Yes... that was my entire point on the Apceros discussion. Being extradimensional is not a factor in determining if something is alien. If it's from Earth, regardless of what universe or timeline, it's not an alien. If it's not from Earth, then it's an alien. They are different concepts.
That's about covering movies, i.e. making pages for them. And we almost immediately broke that rule because we have a page for Horror of the Wolf, where there's a literal rape scene. I don't see harm in just mentioning the Cleavagefield thing.
Why was this removed the film literally shows that clover in TCP is the result of dimensional tampering
I'm not saying its an alien because it could be from an alternate earth but to say its not a creature from another dimension regardless if its from another earth or not is kind of flat out dishonest.
What does that have to do with its species? (Mind you, I'm in favor of completely removing that field for creatures that don't have scientific names or can be described as a type of monster, like yokai.)
Which other pages? We use "extradimensional" pretty sparingly; to me, it's harder to think of something as extradimensional when we've seen its dimension and it's not too different from ours.
My problem with giving Clover two different listings under species is that it suggests that the monsters in Cloverfield and The Cloverfield Paradox are different species, which isn't necessarily true.
Except we didnt see the dimension it came from though its unclear where clover in paradox came from other than a side effect from the shepards activation which is implied that its effects spreaded throught an entire multiverse not just two dimensions
I higly doubt its from jensens earth.
But will remove i just felt it needed to be adressed
By its dimension I mean the world of Cloverfield. Again, not necessarily true; the lack of clarity is a serious problem when describing the creature in Paradox.
Technically im not entirely sure if it originated in the 08 world sure abrams said its been in the sea for some thousands of years but all the time space screwy stuff could of put an egg there in the past for all we know.
The ambigiuity of it all really does make it hard to actually pinpoint and for all we know paradox probably will no longer be canon to 08 whenever the sequel gets released if it does.
"The only reason I put it there is because when Les edited the Thorny Devil page, he changed created by to designed by in the info box as well as put created by in the description."
The situtaion with the spiders doesnt seem to be getting resolved as he seems to be too stuborn to listen to anyone else besides a mod i dont know what else to do
Hello I was wondering could I please you a question? On the information we recieved from the SP Guidebook, I saw that on the revisions page you said that the show info should take precedent in confirming whether Robo-Godzilla is a incarnation of Mechagodzilla or not rather than what the guidebook claims. But you have accepted information from the guidebook in other areas such as the confirmation the small Moths were Mothra. Is there a distinction in the quality of content in the GB? From my understanding the guidebook does not even mention the Robo-Godzilla is this why?

The Fan Book refers to him as a "figure that seems to be Mechagodzilla." His schematics in the show are all labeled Robogodzilla, so I think that should be the name we use unless there is a more explicit confirmation of him being Mechagodzilla. Mothra has her own entire page that blatantly says her name and there is no name given in the show that would contradict it.
Hello les, I've been aware of a toku film Fearful Attack of the Flying Saucers that was directed and written by Shinichi Sekizawa (and released by Shintoho). What do you think about having it here?
It's possible it's a bastardized translation of the title of the preparatory script, The Space Cross (or alternatively, The Cross of Space or The Cross of the Universe). But that is referring to a literal cross like a crucifix, not "[going a]cross."
