Cthulhu is a fictional cosmic entity created by H. P. Lovecraft for his 1928 short story "The Call of Cthulhu". The character almost crossed over with Godzilla in a 1994 proposed crossover film[1] and a 2010 comic project by IDW Publishing part of Infestation 2,[2] but both proposes were scrapped. The character has crossed over with King Kong in the 2011 tabletop game, King of Tokyo, which also features some other creatures from mythologies, folklore, literature and movies. Cthulhu finally came to crossover with Godzilla in the 2019 mobile game, Funko Pop! Blitz, which also features King Kong and Mechagodzilla.
