Notes
- ↑ Super Monster's place in the continuity is debated as it seems to contradict the movies preceding it, such as showing Gamera to be a turtle bought at a pet store which was set free, rather than an ancient Atlantean creature as established in his debut film.
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 Set in "super-futuristic" times.[1]
- ↑ Gamera 4 is a fan film. However, it features Heisei Trilogy star Yukijiro Hotaru, and official screenings of it were organized by Kadokawa in 2003.
- ↑ The Last Hope was originally released in 2017 as a dōjinshi, or unlicensed fan manga. However, it has since been acknowledged by Kadokawa and reprinted officially in both Japan and the United States.
