"Mechagodzilla's Assault!" (メカゴジラの強襲 (きょうしゅう)！,   Mekagojira no Kyōshū!) is the 16th episode of Godziburst and the fourth episode of its third season. Directed by Masami Fujita, it premiered on the BANDAI OFFICIAL YouTube channel on March 20, 2026.

Plot

The monsters clash and Gigan performs his Burst Move, the Slash Break, splitting the ground between Thunder Godzilla and Anguirus and causing lava to spew out of the crack. King Ghidorah also performs his Burst Move, the Destroy Triple Laser, and fires at his two opponents. Piloted by SY-3, Mechagodzilla teleports to the scene to aid his friends. Right after the robot, LittleGodzilla on the Garuda also swoops in. The Garuda attaches onto Mechagodzilla's back, forming Super Mechagodzilla. The robotic monster piloted by SY-3 performs its ultimate Burst Move, the All Weapons Fire, bombarding the enemies with its vast arsenal. King Ghidorah, witnessing Gigan go out in an explosion, tries to flee. Anguirus bites him by the neck midair, causing them to crash. Anguirus stand back up, while King Ghidorah is left motionless on the ground and defeated. SY-3 states Gigan and Ghidorah must have been manipulated by a mastermind using powers of darkness. In order to finish this once and for all, SY-3 and Thunder Godzilla decide to head into the lion's den themselves.

The red-eyed monster, who was already seen once briefly, is revealed to be none other than Destoroyah himself and lets out a terrifying roar.
