Maser Unit

The Maser Unit (メーサーユニット Mēsā Yunitto) is a mechanical vehicle and weapon created for the Bandai toy line Godziburst and the web series of the same name.
Name
The vehicle is named after the Maser Cannon, a fictional weapon featured in many of Toho's films.
Design
The Maser Unit is based on Kiryu's original shoulder-mounted Back Unit. Being a weapon created for the Showa Mechagodzilla, it took additional influence from the Type 66 Maser Cannon from the same era, making it resemble two Maser Cannons connected at the rear. Like Kiryu's Back Unit, the Maser Unit is primarily blue.

"Mechagodzilla's Revenge"
Mechagodzilla was teleported to the Cyberduelverse to take revenge for the match he had lost against SpaceGodzilla. After the mecha arrived, the Maser Unit began driving aggressively around the arena before attaching itself onto the robot's back, adding another weapon to its vast arsenal. The opponent, Rodan, was also brought to the arena and the match began. Mechagodzilla repeatedly fired at Rodan using its new weapon, almost hitting announcer SY-3 while doing so. The pterosaur managed to evade most of the rays, but was eventually hit midair, causing him to crash. To Rodan's aid arrived LittleGodzilla, who Rodan grabbed and swung at Mechagodzilla. The impact caused the Maser Unit to detach from the machine, allowing Rodan to usurp it. The Maser Unit, now on Rodan's back, fired at its former wielder in combination with Little's bubbly atomic breath, leading to Mechagodzilla's defeat.
"Super Dragon Monster Attacks!"
The Maser Unit-equipped Rodan and his allies, Ice Mothra and Burning Millennium Godzilla, were teleported to the Cyberduelverse to stop King Ghidorah's rampage before the arena could be destroyed.
"Greatest Battle in the Cyberduelverse"
Burning Millennium Godzilla tackled King Ghidorah while Ice Mothra and Rodan with the Maser Unit fired at the dragon from a distance. All three were later hit by King Ghidorah's gravity beams as he managed to withstand the attacks. Godzilla, who transformed into Blizzard Godzilla, and LittleGodzilla arrived and joined forces with the other monsters against the three-headed dragon. Attacked by every other kaiju in the arena, King Ghidorah was eventually forced to flee and teleport away.
Capabilities
Maser Cannon
The Maser Unit possesses two Maser Cannons on each side, allowing it to fire two beams simultaneously.
Driving
When not attached to a monster, the Maser Unit can drive around on its wheels at high speeds, having enough control to easily make sharp turns and drift.
Attachment
The Maser Unit can attach onto Mechagodzilla's shoulders, as well as those of organic monsters such as Rodan. Attachment is not required for use, however, as Rodan was able to fire it while holding it with his feet.

- The Maser Unit is the third shoulder-mounted weapon that attaches to a Mechagodzilla, following the Garuda on Heisei Mechagodzilla and Kiryu's Back Unit.
