Sikorsky H-19 Chickasaw
The Sikorsky H-19 Chickasaw is an American military helicopter designed and built by Sikorsky, with Japanese examples produced under license by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. It first appears in the 1954 film, Godzilla.
A pair of H-19s took a group of reporters to Odo Island. At least one of the H-19s was destroyed during a particularly strong storm that struck the island during Godzilla's arrival, being turned over by high winds.
An H-19 followed Mothra in her larva form as she traveled across Japan, but it fell out of the sky after she shot her silk at it.
A helicopter was deployed to search for the missing Seahawk submarine. Another H-19 was destroyed in the first fight between Godzilla and King Kong. Other helicopters took part in lifting Kong out and away from Tokyo.
Sikorsky helicopters were used to release the barrels of wasp venom, killing the Dogoras.
