History

Showa era

Godzilla

A pair of H-19s took a group of reporters to Odo Island. At least one of the H-19s was destroyed during a particularly strong storm that struck the island during Godzilla's arrival, being turned over by high winds.

Mothra

An H-19 followed Mothra in her larval form as she traveled across Japan, but it fell out of the sky after she shot her silk at it.

King Kong vs. Godzilla

A helicopter was deployed to search for the missing submarine Seahawk. Another H-19 was destroyed in the first fight between Godzilla and King Kong. Other helicopters took part in lifting Kong out and away from Tokyo.

Dogora

Sikorsky helicopters were used to release the barrels of wasp venom, killing the Dogoras.

The War of the Gargantuas

Sikorsky helicopters were used to lead Gaira to an electrified lake. They were later equipped with bombs and attempted to bomb Sanda and Gaira in Tokyo Bay.
