History

Millennium era

Godzilla 2000: Millennium

The Full Metal Missile Launchers were first deployed when Godzilla advanced on Tokai. Although other JSDF units had little effect on him, the Missile Launchers actually caused him minor pain, blowing off pieces of his skin. With a sortie of Mitsubishi F-15J fighter jets providing close-air support, the launchers were able to hold Godzilla back and delay his advance. Godzilla's attempt to attack Tokai Nuclear Power Plant was ultimately a failure, his conflict with the JSDF interrupted by the arrival of a bizarre floating rock which blasted him into the sea with its energy cannon.
