Mitsubishi F-4EJ Phantom II

The Mitsubishi F-4EJ Phantom II is a Japanese supersonic jet interceptor aircraft/fighter-bomber manufactured and licensed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, based on the American-built McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II. It is first featured in the 1975 Godzilla film Terror of Mechagodzilla.

Terror of Mechagodzilla
After Titanosaurus made landfall in Tokyo, a fleet of Phantom IIs were deployed by the JASDF to attack the sea monster, arriving in formation and unloading their fire on the giant beast. Most of their shots hit, some even appearing to briefly set Titanosaurus's skin on fire, but suddenly he jumped into the air, colliding with and destroying two of the aircraft. Additional Phantom IIs later took part in the final battle when they came to Godzilla's rescue by attacking Mechagodzilla, who was about to shoot Godzilla with its finger missiles. Godzilla used the attack as a distraction to shove Titanosaurus out of the way and grabbed hold of Mechagodzilla, but the robot shot down the jets with its Space Beams.
