Thunder Godzilla

Thunder Godzilla (サンダーゴジラ Sandā Gojira) is a kaiju created for the 2025 Bandai toy line Godziburst and the web series of the same name.
Name
The name is simply a combination of the words "thunder" and "Godzilla". When the Thunder Effect (サンダーエフェクト Sandā Efekuto) is equipped, the resulting form is called the Special Move Activation ver. (必殺技発動時ver. Hissatsu-Waza Hatsudō-Ji ver.).[1]
Design
The Godziburst Thunder Godzilla figure is a repaint of the Burning Millennium Godzilla figure. The body is metallic blue in color, with white veins on his chest and thighs. His claws are white and eyes yellow, while his dorsal plates are cyan. When he uses his Burst Move, the Lightning Ray, an accessory called the Thunder Effect manifests onto his back. It is a structure of bulky cyan spikes covering his shoulders and back.

Personality
Thunder Godzilla is portrayed as a courageous heroic character quick to forces with other kaiju to ward off evil. He's very resilient and quickly gets back on his feet after even the most powerful of attacks, as shown in his fight against King Destoroyah. He's protective of his allies and went to check up on Anguirus after he saw him on his back after their fight with Gigan and King Ghidorah. When he realized that he needed help to fight off King Destoroyah, he called other Godzillas to his aid, and their cooperation led to the defeat of the evil kaiju.

"Give 'Em a Shock!"
Within the overtaken Adventureverse, Golden Hedorah tackled the black Hedorah army but was quickly defeated and reverted back into SY-3. The horde advanced towards LittleGodzilla, Anguirus, and SY-3, but was struck by multiple bolts of lightning. Thunder Godzilla, bathed in lightning, suddenly appeared. SY-3 realized that the black Hedorah are vulnerable to electricity. Thunder Godzilla defeated the horde with a single blow, but the main body of the black Hedorah launched itself into the sky to escape. Anguirus signaled Thunder Godzilla to grab him by the tail and throw him towards it, so he could destroy the main body himself in the air. The plan proved successful, leaving the enemy defeated at last.
"Into the Demonic Verse!"
After quick calculation, SY-3 concluded that the source of the problem was the Hellverse, an area of Godziburst. As the danger was not yet over and some black sludge still remained on the ground, Thunder Godzilla and Anguirus decided to travel to the Hellverse to take the matter into their own hands. The two departed in the SY-3 Tower, leaving SY-3 and Little behind for their safety. SY-3 stated that the black Hedorah were of the Dark Burst Type, one he had never seen before, but was positive Thunder Godzilla of the King Burst Type would be able to defeat whatever they happen to encounter in the enemy territory. Thunder Godzilla and Anguirus arrived in the Hellverse and witnessed a dark and hellish landscape. They were quickly attacked by Gigan and King Ghidorah.
"Mechagodzilla's Assault!"
As the kaiju engaged in a fierce battle, Mechagodzilla, piloted by SY-3, and LittleGodzilla, flying on the Garuda, showed up to help. Garuda and Mechagodzilla combined into Super Mechagodzilla, ready to engage. Gigan and King Ghidorah were completely overpowered and quickly defeated, with Anguirus dealing the finishing blow to the three-headed dragon. SY-3 stated that Gigan and King Ghidorah must have been manipulated by some kind of power of darkness, a mastermind. Thunder Godzilla and SY-3 resolved to find and defeat the mysterious power of darkness once and for all.
"The Terror of Destoroyah"
Thunder Godzilla and Mechagodzilla arrived at the ruins of an old temple, finding Destoroyah at its center. The kaiju sat on a gigantic black and red throne with moving insectoid legs on the sides and a sculpture of his Crawl Form on the back. Destoroyah took flight and dove at Mechagodzilla, knocking it back onto the staircase they had just climbed and disconnecting it from the Garuda. After a brief physical fight, Destoroyah grabbed Thunder Godzilla's neck with his tail and threw him onto the broken pillars on the ground. Mechagodzilla stood up, and after SY-3's quick calculation of Destoroyah's Burst Type, summoned Kiryu's Back Unit. It aimed a barrage of missiles at Destoroyah, causing a huge explosion. However, as the smoke cleared, Destoroyah was revealed to have taken on a new and more powerful form, King Destoroyah, and was completely unharmed.
"The King Who Rends the Dark"
Destoroyah, now of the Dark Burst Type, rendered Mechagodzilla inoperable with a single strike, and proceeded to bombard Thunder Godzilla using his new powers. King Destoroyah, confident in victory, returned to his throne and resumed corrupting the Godziburst from afar. The furious Thunder Godzilla stood up and fired his Lightning Ray into the sky, which caused lightning strikes behind him. Suddenly, five portals opened behind Thunder Godzilla, and from them emerged the 1954, 1991, Burning Millennium, 2004, and 2016 Godzillas. The six Godzillas all fired their atomic rays at King Destoroyah, blowing him into pieces and finally putting an end to his evil plans. The Godzilla army, with Godziburst saved, roared victoriously. Thunder Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Anguirus, and LittleGodzilla departed the hellish landscape of Hellverse in the SY-3 Tower.

Physical abilities
Thunder Godzilla is shown to have immense strength, often using his tail to strike foes and throwing Anguirus high in the sky with extreme precision.
Lightning Ray
Thunder Godzilla can fire a powerful bolt of electricity from his mouth called the Lightning Ray (ライトニングレイ Raitoningu Rei). When he does this, the Thunder Effect accessory manifests onto his back and disappears right after. The attack proved especially effective against the Dark Burst Type, wiping out a whole army of black Hedorahs with a single blow. Thunder Godzilla also possesses the ability to manipulate lightning to some extent, with bolts striking multiple black Hedorah right before Thunder Godzilla appeared. He also he caused lightning strikes behind him after firing into the sky.
Portal manifestation
During his battle with King Destoroyah, Thunder Godzilla fired his Lightning Ray into the sky and summoned four portals behind him. From the portals emerged four different Godzillas, who helped him defeat King Destoroyah.
Durability
Thunder Godzilla was able to quickly recover after every attack aimed at him, no matter how powerful.
