Batrod (バトロッド,   Batoroddo) is a Metalferd kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in episode 11 of the 1996 tokusatsu kaiju series, Guyferd titled Brainjack.

Guyferd

Batrod is used as a defense mechanism for Crown's brainjack facilities. He was ultimately defeated by Guyferd's Depthcharge Attack.

Abilities

Bo staff

Batrod's main weapon is a bo staff. He also throws it like a spear. It was ultimately destroyed by the Thrusting Dragon Attack.

Deathblow Baton Attack

Batrod can channel ki into his bo to fire energy crescents, in a move called the Deathblow Baton Attack. According to the "Crown's Secret Data" segment at the end of the show, the move is also called the Musou Attack.

Brainjack control

Batrod can control brainjack victims. He used this ability to control several children, including Rei Kujo. This control can be broken by overloading the main brainjack device.
