Metalferd

Metalferds (メタルファード Metarufādo) are a group of modified humans who serve as the weekly antagonists of the second cour of Toho and TV Tokyo's 1996 tokusatsu series Guyferd.
History
Heisei era
Guyferd
Metalferds are ex-humans who have been converted into Guyborgs and then parasitized by Fallah to become highly-adept fighters. They were used as elite operatives by Crown for various purposes, most notably to exterminate the Metalferds' predecessor Guyferd, who had been exposed to Fallah prior to becoming a Guyborg. Crown remained oblivious as to the cause of Guyferd's abilities until unleashing Fallah on an unnamed Guyborg, who then began to transform like Guyferd, but only in its arms. After unsuccessful attempts to force the Guyborg back to its base form, it escaped, but was confronted and killed outside by the Mutian Antaleess. Despite this, Crown had gained crucial knowledge as to how to recreate Guyferd, and successfully engineered the first Metalferd, Dragos. Three more Metalferds followed, along with Metal Master, a new second-in-command to Crown's leader Zodiac.
The Metalferds ultimately failed to defeat Guyferd, however, leading Zodiac to undergo the creation of the Gaia Soldiers, further-upgraded versions of the Metalferds.
