Detragon (デットラゴン is a canine Dettoragon)kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in the episode 14 of the 1973 tokusatsu kaiju series, Zone Fighter titled Rampage! The Garoga Boys Attack Force.
Design
Detragon resembles a bipedal Dobermann with additional cybernetic and reptilian traits. He possesses black fur, red eyes, an orange muzzle, a pair of crescent-shaped ears striped in light blue and white, orange scale-like coverings on his abdomen and knees, and a pair of silver turrets with yellow barrels in place of hands. He wears silver armor that is adorned with spikes at its shoulders and neck and has a row of four orange orbs on its waist.
History

Showa era
Zone Fighter
"Rampage! The Garoga Boys Attack Force"
TBA.
"Carnage! Zone & Godzilla vs. the Allied Terror-Beast Forces"
Unlike most of the other Terror-Beasts in this episode, Detragon wasn't visibly seen being deployed to Earth and shrunk down. His capsule was found alongside Mogranda and Shadorah's, after a Garoga agent disguised as a mailman had hidden them in the garbage cans that resided in front of the Zone Family's houses, easily allowing them to locate the capsules. After an analysis on Shadorah's capsule concluded that they were indeed Terror-Beasts shrunken to micro size, the Zone Family prepared to destroy them while Hikaru would go look for more capsules. Later when Kabutogirah was defeated by Zone, it was stated over a Zobot that Detragon's capsule along with Mogranda and Shadorah's had been disposed of.
Abilities
Physical abilities
Detragon stomped a building and swiped at the remaining rubble. During his fight with Zone Fighter, Detragon attempted to swipe at the hero with his turret hands and shoved away Zone after being attacked and grappled the hero during a scuffle. When Zone Fighter jumped on his back, he was able to dislodge the hero by flipping him onto the ground, where he then tried to jump on him before being kicked off.
Missiles
Detragon can fire red explosive missiles from his four barreled gold-turrets. When he performs this technique, he slams both of the turrets together before firing off the missiles. When the missiles detonate, they make extremely large explosions, strong enough to blow up part's of a mountain, while also leaving the area in flames. They fly at a moderate speed, but can be caught by opponents and thrown back towards Detragon, as demonstrated by Zone Fighter when he caught both missiles during the third volley of them. The hero easily rolled out of the way of the first volley. When the missiles are not in use, they are stored inside of Detragon's body.[2]
Eyesight
According to All Kaiju Kaijin (First Volume), Detragon's eyes are actually telescopes and can adjust his eyesight at will, "from a range of 10 centimeters to infinity itself."[2]
Capsule
In "Carnage! Zone & Godzilla vs. the Allied Terror-Beast Forces", the Garogas shrunk Detragon down and placed him inside of a capsule in order to avoid being detected by the Zone Family. After three hours, this capsule would have exploded, releasing him, but it was destroyed by the Zone Family before this could take place.
Durability
Detragon was able to endure many blows from Zone Fighter such as multiple knees to the chest and being flipped over repeatedly, with the most impressive feats being a Meteor Kick to the head, and a two-handed Meteor Slice Chop which cut off his hands. Detragon was also able to endure his own volley of missiles thrown back at him. He was severely weakened after being picked up and spun around by the hero, before being thrown to the ground, where he was finally defeated after being shot by two volleys of Zone Fighter's Meteor Missile Might, falling over and exploding after the attack ended.
