The Soldier Termites have brown bodies, four legs with three claws on each foot, and two arms with pincer claws. Their heads have five eyes, one on both sides of the head, three on their forehead, two small fangs, two large pincers, and two antennae underneath their head.
The Worker Termites have tan bodies and six legs with two claws on each foot. Their heads are orange, with three yellow eyes on their forehead, four antennae, two small mandibles, two hairy fangs, and two much longer mandibles.
The Queen Termite is much larger than the other termites and has a tan, maggot-like body. Her abdomen has four large legs with three claws on each foot and four spikes at the end of the abdomen, and a gray plate of armor on top that has six spikes on both sides pointing down. Her thorax has six smaller legs with three claws on each foot. Her head has two green eyes with three yellow dots in them, a gray plate of armor that extends farther down with four spikes, four fangs and two large mandibles.
History
Godzilla: The Series
"Bug Out"
The Giant Mutant Termites were found in Brazil, where they were eating the rainforests to the ground faster than anything humans could do to stop them. H.E.A.T. and Godzilla arrived and Godzilla began to attack the Giant Mutant Termites, but the Soldier Termites swarmed and temporarily overwhelmed him. Dr. Mendel Craven then created a device that disoriented the termites and they began to attack each other. The other members of H.E.A.T. took the opportunity to destroy the Queen Termite and her eggs.
Abilities
Jaws
The Soldier Termites are equipped with two powerful jaws.
Pincers
The Soldier Termites use their sharp pincer claws to slash at and stab targets.
Swarms
The Soldier Termites use their numbers to overpower larger targets like Godzilla.
Reproduction
The Queen Termite can lay thousands of eggs in a week.
Ultrasonic soundwaves
The Giant Mutant Termites communicate through ultrasonic soundwaves.
Metabolism
The Giant Mutant Termites' metabolism and size would have allowed them to devour the entire Brazilian rain forest in five weeks had H.E.A.T. not stopped them.
Weaknesses
Due to just being large termites, Godzilla was able to easily bite the termites in half, crush them by either stomping on them or using his tail, and incinerate them with his atomic breath. While lasers seemed to kill the Worker Termites and hold back the Soldier Termites, the lasers were able to knock the Queen Termite out cold. H.E.A.T. was able to use transmissions from modulators to disrupt basic communications between the Queen Termite and the rest of the colony, causing chaos. When the ultrasonic signal the modulators transmitted were amplified, it was able to mimic an attack command, forcing the termites to all turn on each other. All the termites were easily killed by using a bomb made of all the flares that H.E.A.T had.
