Chibi Biollante (ちびビオランテ Chibi Biorante) is a kaiju who appears in the 2023 animated television series Chibi Godzilla Raids Again.
Name
Chibi Biollante's name simply comes from placing chibi (ちび), a Japanese word meaning "little," before "Biollante." The other monsters refer to her by the nickname Madam Bio (ビオ姉さん Bionēsan).
Design
Chibi Biollante has a legless, light-green body with a large rounded base, from which four mouthed tendrils extend. She has a rose blossom in the center of her body, Godzilla-like dorsal plates running from the top of her head down her back, and a face with two eyes with visible eyelashes, two nostrils, and a mouth.
Personality
Chibi Biollante is the sisterly proprietress of a snack bar.[1] She happily offers advice to her troubled customers, though said advice can range from perplexingly allegorical to literal, and it can be difficult to discern between the two.

Chibi Godzilla Raids Again
"The Bewitching Rose, Chibi Biollante"
Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Mechagodzilla, and Chibi Mothra visited Chibi Biollante's bar on Monster Island, where Chibi Mechagodzilla was shocked to discover that the bar only served dried snacks and no drinks when Chibi Biollante recommended rice crackers. Chibi Mechagodzilla confided in Chibi Biollante that he was overwhelmed by the chibi monsters' eccentricities, to which she suggested resting his mind to alleviate the stress. Chibi Mothra also spoke to Chibi Biollante about her problems, explaining that she had a crush on another monster. While Chibi Biollante's cryptic response of "dipping soup for the mind" confused Chibi Mechagodzilla, Chibi Mothra understood that it was a complex allegory and provided a very specific yet accurate interpretation of the statement, leaving Chibi Mechagodzilla bewildered. Chibi Mothra also mentioned that her skin becomes dry when stressed, to which Chibi Biollante recommended hyaluronic acid. Chibi Mothra initially assumed this to be another complicated metaphor, only for Chibi Biollante to reveal that she was being literal this time. Chibi Mechagodzilla lamented that he didn't understand what was happening anymore, only to be further incensed by Chibi Biollante's recommendation that he needed to hydrate despite the fact that the bar served no drinks.
"An All-Chibi Monster Chorus"
Chibi Mechagodzilla joined several others on another trip to Chibi Biollante's bar, where the robot once more expressed his disappointment in the establishment's lack of refreshments until Chibi Biollante revealed that they also offered karaoke, which piqued his interest. After the Shobijin took their turn at singing "Mothra's Song", Chibi Biollante revealed the karaoke machine's scoring system, which awarded the Shobijin an average score and suggested that they needed to work on their synchronization. Following several renditions of songs that Chibi Biollante found to be "moving", the plant monster recommended that they all sing a song together, with Chibi Godzilla selecting "Godzilla's Theme". Because the song had no lyrics, the group could only hum along, much to Chibi Mechagodzilla's annoyance. However, the group ultimately earned a perfect score on the karaoke machine's scoring system.
"Madam Bio's New Menu"
Chibi Godzilla and his sister Chibi Minilla arrived at Chibi Biollante's bar and realized she didn't recognise Chibi Minilla so Chibi Minilla introduced herself. Chibi Biollante pointed out that Chibi Minilla was a child and that Chibi Biollante's restaurant was a bar, albeit one that didn't serve alcohol or drinks of any kind, though she then realized that most of her customers were children anyway so it didn't matter. Chibi Biollante revealed that she was stressed about rising inflation leading to fewer customers but initially ignored Chibi Minilla's suggestion of improving the menu on the basis she was a child. When she actually heard Chibi Minilla's idea of adding more menu items, she quickly changed her tune and accepted the idea but then rejected the following idea of adding drinks to the menu despite hearing that the nearby vending machine selling drinks was profitable. Chibi Godzilla then suggested selling a soy powder biscuit snack, which Chibi Biollante accepted since it would be very dry, confusing Chibi Minilla.
Chibi Biollante made the snacks and the three waited for the first customer, who turned out to be Chibi Titano. Chibi Biollante served the snacks to him and Chibi Titano initially sounded like he was complaining until he referred to it as "AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS", which Chibi Biollante called a close call. Chibi Godzilla proclaimed it their hot new item and Chibi Biollante began to monologue about something she found more valuable about money – Chibi Minilla initially thought she meant the smiles of her customers until she revealed that she was talking about her customers being dehydrated instead as Chibi Titano began to feel dehyrated, confusing Chibi Minilla yet again.
"Fortune-Telling"
Chibi Biollante gave Chibi Mothra a fortune-telling session in which she predicted Chibi Mothra would experience the greatest fortune of her life that year. Chibi Mothra reacted with excitement though Chibi Biollante explained that this meant that Chibi Mothra would find the wireless earbud she thought she'd lost. Chibi Mothra still reacted with excitement but Chibi Mechagodzilla, who had just arrived with Chibi Godzilla, argued it wasn't exciting. After Chibi Godzilla realized fortune-telling was a new part of her restaurant, Chibi Biollante confirmed this and also explained she had collected a variety of items from the curb to sell as part of a second-hand store. Chibi Biollante further explained that all this was necessary to cover construction costs as the restaurant was falling apart. Chibi Mechagodzilla started to say he didn't realize Chibi Biollante was a fortune-teller but she suddenly interrupted him to show him the Sun card, this sudden tarot card reading confusing Chibi Mechagodzilla, especially when she simply stated that it meant tomorrow would be a sunny day. Chibi Mechagodzilla announced his skepticism about fortune-telling and drew Chibi Mothra's anger in the process as she defended Chibi Biollante by saying her readings were always right though also stated that you would believe they were even when they weren't. Chibi Mothra asked Chibi Biollante to look at her fortune again and she looked into her crystal ball, exciting Chibi Mothra. Chibi Mechagodzilla asked if the crystal ball was more accurate and Chibi Mothra replied that everything but the ball was a scam, confusing him even further.
Chibi Biollante looked into the crystal ball and made the following predictions: it would be the year Chibi Mothra would gain weight if she were to overeat, her lucky color was purplish-red and similar to internal bleeding, and her lucky hat is a helmet. Chibi Mothra announced that she needed to buy a purplish-red helmet as soon as possible, with Chibi Biollante just as so happening to have one on hand, drawing Chibi Mechagodzilla's suspicions that the fortune-telling was just an attempt to make money as Chibi Mothra bought the helmet. Chibi Biollante offered to tell Chibi Mechagodzilla's fortune, predicting an unlucky future and that to balance this out, his lucky number was two and eight fifteenths, his lucky pose full prostration and his lucky exercise radio calisthenics. Chibi Biollante then stated that his luck would increase if he bought items from her store, making him further suspicious until a light fell from the ceiling and hit him on the head after bouncing off Chibi Mothra's lucky hat.
"First Date Butterflies"
Chibi Mothra and Chibi Mechagodzilla arrived at Chibi Biollante's snack bar as the first stop on their tour, with Chibi Biollante welcoming them and Chibi Godzilla wondering what they were doing. As Chibi Godzilla misunderstood the purpose of their tour, Chibi Biollante told him off for not reading the room properly and called him naive but then further confused the situation by stating that Chibi Mechagodzilla and Chibi Mothra were going to duel, annoying the pair away from her restaurant and exciting Chibi Godzilla. Chibi Mechagodzilla and Chibi Mothra left shortly after.
"Chibi Mothra's Valentine"
Chibi Mothra visited Chibi Biollante's bar along with the Shobijin to ask for her advice in making handmade chocolate for Valentine's Day. Chibi Biollante initially explained the traditional way of melting a chocolate into a different shape after buying it but then explained a different foolproof method in which you buy the chocolate and then just give it in that form, disappointing Chibi Mothra as it would not be handmade like this. Chibi Biollante explained that this meant no chance of failure and that melting only to re-solidify was a waste of time, comparing it to buying ice only to melt it and make ice again. As Chibi Mothra began to agree with her, Chibi Biollante suddenly backtracked and suggested wasting time isn't always a bad thing, asking what shape she wanted the chocolate to be in. After the Shobijin first suggested a heart, a kissing-face emoji and an upside-down smiling face emoji, Chibi Biollante suggested it be Biollante shaped though this was dismissed too. Chibi Biollante suggested Chibi Mothra choose from the heart and asked what the boy she was interested in was like, hearing a negative description from the Shobijin and a positive description from Chibi Mothra. After hearing a positive memory from Chibi Mothra about watching stars, Chibi Biollante and the Shobijin selected this as the shape and Chibi Mothra left Chibi Biollante's bar with the Shobijin to make star-shaped chocolate.
"Chibi Anguirus' True Feelings"
Chibi Rodan indirectly mentioned Chibi Biollante in a social media post as a "shop girl" that Chibi Rodan saw be called cute by a "hooligan" who asked if she wanted to hang out with him, but was annoyed off by Chibi Rodan when he asked to play with him instead.
"Monster Streamers GhidoRodan"
One piece of Monster Island gossip talked about on Chibi Ghidorah and Chibi Rodan's streaming channel was an anonymous tipoff that the dry snacks Chibi Biollante sold in her bar were way past their expiration date, with Chibi Rodan asserting this to be true simply because another gossip channel said so. Chibi Ghidorah later admitted to Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla that this, along with the rest of the video, was a lie told purely for views.
"Flowers Need Attention Too"
Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Mechagodzilla, Chibi Mothra and Chibi Minilla came across Chibi Biollante as she was watering flowers but overheard her saying strange comments about bowls of ramen to them. The four were confused by this and thought it was weird as Chibi Biollante explained that talking to flowers made them bloom better though Chibi Mechagodzilla commented that surely it was better to say things which were nice or thoughtful. Chibi Biollante ignored him and talked to the flowers about festival food stalls and what they would do if there were either laundry booths or chiropractor stands next to them, confusing and worrying the others even more. Chibi Minilla stated that she wanted to water the plants too and the group other than Chibi Mechagodzilla did so, with Chibi Minilla encouraging the plants, Chibi Mothra vowing to kill any bugs that landed on the plants and Chibi Godzilla making fun of Chibi Mechagodzilla bugging out when he was exposed to water by praising the plants for having higher tolerance. Chibi Godzilla then watered Chibi Biollante with encouraging words as she was angered by this and he insulted her by commenting that he assumed she turned out the way she did due to a lack of words, hurting her feelings.
Some time later, Chibi Minilla asked Chibi Biollante what each flower was as Chibi Biollante also explained that they have different meanings on certain occasions: yellow Casa Blancas mean betrayal, hypericum symbolize grudges, and marigolds represent despair. Chibi Mechagodzilla commented on the gloominess of the flowers as Chibi Biollante explained that cocktails also have their "own language": Gin & Lime means love that never fades and Campari Orange represents first love. Chibi Mothra found this romantic as Chibi Biollante reminded them that she was a bar owner and attempted to come up with a meaning for dried snacks though only arrived at "forever salty" as Chibi Mechagodzilla told her to stop making things up. Chibi Minilla came back as she worried that she talked too much to the flowers, pointing to the gargantuan flowers she raised while Chibi Godzilla's somehow reverted back to seeds due to his impressive lack of talent. He also looked for Chibi Biollante, who had suddenly disappeared, and noticed a seed on the ground, concluding that Chibi Biollante had also reverted to a seed as he desperately apologized only for her to appear behind him. She gave him a bouquet of hypericum to thank him for the day as he asked what they were and remembered they were the flowers that represented grudges.
"Past Memories"
Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Mechagodzilla and Chibi Mothra visited Chibi Biollante's bar and found Chibi Hedorah drunk. Chibi Godzilla asked Chibi Biollante if the bar actually sold drinks now, with Chibi Biollante explaining that Chibi Hedorah brings his own, the drink in question being petroleum. Chibi Hedorah defended himself by explaining that adults sometimes had to drink to get through bad days; he'd found out that he'd been paying for an unused subscription platform for three years. Chibi Mechagodzilla acknowledged this but Chibi Biollante was concerned by Chibi Hedorah talking to Chibi Titano, who wasn't there and so he was imagining people. Chibi Hedorah and Chibi Biollante began to talk about when they were young but she was irritated when he claimed their bodies were sticky and gross at that age, with Chibi Biollante simply commenting that he was speaking for himself. After Chibi Hedorah commented on food in their day, he asked Chibi Biollante for a duet during karaoke and she commented that he always wanted a duet and declined, with Chibi Godzilla taking her place as they prepared to sing "Godzilla's Theme" but were stopped by Chibi Hedorah's inexplicable sadness. Chibi Hedorah suddenly fell asleep as Chibi Biollante explained that she thought his behavior when drunk was partly out of happiness due to nostalgia. A flashback then played: Chibi Hedorah was helping Chibi Biollante complete her bar as they discussed the decorations on the outside and making the bar welcoming to children, with the flashback appearing sweet until it suddenly shifted to him chasing her, shocking Chibi Mechagodzilla. The flashback ended as Chibi Biollante commented that he wanted her bar to be a safe space for children; Chibi Hedorah then woke up and demanded more petroleum as she replied he'd had enough for the day.
"Supermarket Showdown"
Chibi Biollante approached Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla in the Mess Mart as the siblings discussed bargains and how Chibi Godzilla only wanted to buy food not at full price, Chibi Biollante warning them she had come to do the same thing and would compete with Chibi Godzilla for the limited number of discounts. Chibi Minilla was confused by this tension as the pair each vowed to be the victor and also their excitement over the possibility of a 50% discount. Chibi Biollante expressed her excitement at buying some "free" sashimi despite Chibi Minilla reminding her that she'd still be paying some amount of money for it. Chibi Gabara, one of the staff members, finally arrived with the discount stickers and placed a 30% off sticker on the shopping cart much to the excitement of Chibi Biollante and Chibi Godzilla. Chibi Gabara then disappointed the group by placing a 50% on sticker on the yellowtail sashimi, explaining that it means a customer pays 1.5x the price for the product as Chibi Biollante accused him of being a slacker. Chibi Gabara then placed a 50% off sticker on the tuna which was instantly taken by Chibi Biollante, who taunted Chibi Godzilla by saying she warned him of her speed from the start even though he insisted she hadn't. Her gloating was interrupted by Chibi JJ suddenly appearing and trying to arrest her under the accusation of shoplifting as Chibi Gabara added that she hadn't paid for the tuna. Despite Chibi Minilla supporting her by pointing out she was still in the middle of shopping and trying to get Chibi Godzilla to also support her with limited success, Chibi Biollante confessed to her crime. Chibi Minilla continued to support Chibi Biollante by arguing it was a false accusation and asking Chibi JJ to reconsider, with Chibi JJ halving her sentence from six to three years. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Biollante proclaimed this a bargain while Chibi Minilla commented that it was still absurd.
"Monster Island's Year-End Party"
A year-end party attended by several monsters was held at Chibi Biollante's bar as she expressed her happiness at the number of customers she gets at the end of the year but also commented that she never makes any money, Chibi Mechagodzilla explaining this was because she didn't serve drinks. When everyone discussed their memories of the year, Chibi Biollante spoke about getting arrested in Mess Mart and added that they let her go free of charge after she said "sorry".

- Chibi Biollante was initially the only monster in Chibi Godzilla Raids Again to be based on a monster who did not originate in the Showa era. However, the third season added both Chibi Mecha-Ghidorah, a costume for Chibi Ghidorah based on Mecha-King Ghidorah, and Chibi Battra; all three of these monsters are based on monsters who debuted in the Heisei era.
- With the exceptions of episodes 29, "Madam Bio's New Menu", and 87, "Supermarket Showdown", every episode featuring Chibi Biollante also features Chibi Mothra.
