Hedoron (ヘドロン,   Hedoron) is an amoeba kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in episode 17 of the 1972 tokusatsu series, Warrior of Love Rainbowman titled Witchcraft-Human Petrification!!.

Name

Hedoron uses the pre-production name for Hedorah.[1]

Design

Hedoron, being an amoeba, only looks like a blob of purple and blue sludge.

History

Warrior of Love Rainbowman

Hedoron was created by Herodenia III and released during a battle with Rainbowman when he realized he was failing. Hedoron was manipulated to attack Rainbowman and proved to be quite troublesome especially when its absorption was increased. However, Rainbowman was able to evade Hedoron and finish off Herodenia III, whose defeat also brought upon the death of Hedoron.

Hedoron can give off a gas which petrifies most enemies.
