Megarion possesses the Showa Mechagodzilla's roar mixed with the screech of the giant scorpions from the 1957 film The Black Scorpion.

Trivia

Megarion shares a similar design to the Heisei MOGUERA. Both were designed by Shinji Nishikawa, though he was not the sole designer of MOGUERA.
