Jun admired his courage, and he did regret being forced to turn to theft, so they banded together to search the city with pictures of the man to gather leads. While they were out, Shosuke spotted Goro's father, but he seemed not to recognize his son. This led to them being kidnapped by the Die-Die Gang, and tossed in the back of one of their work trucks. They were brought to a Die-Die Gang base in the countryside, where they were kept tied up. When Rainbowman began to menace the base, they were brought out as an ultimatum: Rainbowman would either stop his attack, or the children would be shot. Goro's father, who had been freed of his mind control, used construction equipment to scare the gang off, and Rainbowman set the kids free. When Rainbowman had defeated the gang, Jun and the others said goodbye to Goro and his father at the train station.

Yoko Omiya (大宮 陽子 is the daughter of Ōmiya Yōko)Dr. Omiya, and is a supporting character in the 1982-1983 animated series Warrior of Love Rainbowman. She is depicted as the romantic interest of series protagonist Takeshi Yamato, but reference material from Takeshi's point of view suggests that he sees her in more of a sisterly light.

When Takeshi returned to Japan, he visited the Omiyas at the research laboratory. Yoko met him at the door, and cold-shouldered the boy until he gave her a sculpture he got for her during his travels. Yoko was impressed, but her father quickly arrived and took Takeshi into the lab.
"Revive!! Rainbow Seven"
"Secret of the Underground Cavern"
Yoko was in Tokyo waiting for a bus one day when she was spotted by Takeshi Yamato, who tried to get her attention. She instead continued on her way, not interested in speaking to the boy. He later caught up to her, and asked her if she wanted to get something to eat. She was not hungry, and declined. He asked if she wanted to grab a drink, but she was not thirsty, and declined. He tried again to ask just to talk to her, but she firmly displayed her lack of interest in spending time with him, and told him plainly that if he was looking for a date, he had better find someone else to ask. Takeshi was confused by this, as he hadn't meant to ask her on a date, but before their miscommunication can be clarified, they are interrupted by a gas explosion at a nearby construction site. Takeshi threw himself on top of Yoko to protect her from the blast, and they then watched workers running from the blaze, and Takeshi ran into the fire to try and rescue any trapped workers.

Trivia
- Yoko's design went through a considerable change late into the show's development. This is evidenced by her appearance in production materials and merchandise depicting a much more demure and "traditionally feminine" design than the contemporary look she has in thr series.
