It will be animated by Powerhouse Animation[2] and released to Netflix sometime in 2022.[3] The series will follow a cast of characters who find themselves shipwrecked on the titular Skull Island, where they encounter a host of its monstrous native creatures including its self-appointed Titan guardian: Kong.
