After completing this, he is assigned by [[Megumi Shion]] to assassinate [[Guyferd]]. He fails in his first attempt because Guyferd is immune to his Blood-Thirst technique. He is then ordered to use his ability on Guyferd's friends to make them attack him. He later attacks them as they drive to his most recent attack site, but all of Guyferd's friends have sound-cancelling earmuffs. They are one pair short, and Blood-Thirst is able to influence a policeman, who begins to shoot at Guyferd. The policeman is knocked out and Guyferd fights Guilpulss, ending with the Mutian's defeat.

Guilpulss[1] (ギルパルス,   Giruparusu) is a Mutian kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in episode 6 of the 1996 tokusatsu kaiju series, Guyferd titled Blood-thirst! Homicidal Sound Waves.

Guilpulss is first seen using his Blood-Thirst ability to send a cargo truck (belonging to Toho) off the road. After completing this, he is assigned by Megumi Shion to assassinate Guyferd. He fails in his first attempt because Guyferd is immune to his Blood-Thirst technique. He is then ordered to use his ability on Guyferd's friends to make them attack him. He later attacks them as they drive to his most recent attack site, but all of Guyferd's friends have sound-cancelling earmuffs.
