Movie Monster EX Series
The Movie Monster EX Series (ムービーモンスターＥＸシリーズ Mūbī Monsutā Ī Ekkusu Shirīzu) is a line of six-inch soft vinyl Godzilla action figures released by Bandai in 2015, and a subline of the Movie Monster Series. The line consists entirely of reissues of figures originally released in North America by Bandai America.
Information
The Movie Monster EX Series' first wave was released on February 14, 2015. Each figure was priced at ¥1,600. The first wave included Godzilla 1968, King Ghidorah, Rainbow Mothra, King Caesar, and Mechagodzilla. All of the figures were reissued from molds from Bandai America's line of 6" Godzilla figures. While the figures were effectively identical to the Bandai America releases, Rainbow Mothra featured a slightly altered paint job.[1] A translucent blue variant of the King Ghidorah figure was later sold exclusively by the Godzilla Store during Godzilla Fest 2018.

- The Movie Monster EX Series was the first line of Godzilla figures released by Bandai to include re-released Bandai America figures. This would be continued by Bandai's King of the Monsters Series, another subline of the Movie Monster Series, in 2016.
