Mattel, Inc. is an American toy manufacturer founded in 1945. One of the world's most successful toy companies, it is famed for its Barbie, Hot Wheels, and American Girl brands, among many others. It has released numerous Godzilla- and King Kong-related products since 1978, including the Shogun Warriors Godzilla, one of the most famous American Godzilla figures. Mega Brands, its answer to Lego, will release a line of sets for the upcoming film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024).

Godzilla's Gang is a toyline distributed by Mattel and manufactured by Bandai in 1978. The toyline consists of Godzilla and various monsters from the Ultraman franchise that were originally released as Popy Ultra Saurus toys.

Shogun Warriors

Shogun Warriors is a toy line licensed by Mattel during 1979 that consisted of imported Japanese robots from Popy and other companies.

The Shogun Warriors line primarily consisted of giant robots from various Japanese live-action and anime shows, but also included Godzilla and Rodan.

Godzilla

The Godzilla toy was green with small eyes, a big back-of-the-head, a pronounced nose, a very short snout, broad shoulders, yellow claws, and a completely upright posture.

Rodan

The Rodan toy was a crimson-red color, with black horns and a black beak lined with small teeth, yellow eyes, a column of plates in its chest, a 38-inch wingspan (for the "flying" gimmick), small legs and big feet with yellow claws.

Toynami Godzilla

Toynami released an 19-inch MosuGoji figure based on the Shogun Warriors Godzilla in 2015.

Hot Wheels

Hot Wheels is an American brand of scale model cars created by the American toymaker company Mattel in 1968.

In 2022 a collaboration with the Godzilla franchise was announced, which resulted in three new Godzilla-themed Hot Wheels cars in 2022 and 2023. The brand has also collaborated with the Ultra and Kamen Rider franchises in the past.
