Godzilla: Rage Across Time
The Nebulans were featured in the first issue of the series Godzilla: Rage Across Time. In this comic, the Mongols were revealed to actually be the Nebulans, who were seeking a new home on Earth. Using their advanced technology, the Nebulans took control of the ancient monsters Gigan and Megalon and used them to attack Japan. However, Godzilla appeared and defeated Gigan and Megalon, while several Japanese warriors managed to take the device controlling the monsters from the Nebulans. Gigan and Megalon both retreated, while Godzilla destroyed the Nebulans' fleet with his atomic breath.

Trivia
- According to Chris Mowry in an interview conducted by Toho Kingdom, the Nebulans appeared in some of the mini-series pitches he used to build the story for Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, but they were replaced by the Cryogs since IDW was unable to use any human or alien characters from the Toho films.
