- When Misato Jinguji went to cheer up Mothra Leo, she played "Mothra's Song" from Rebirth of Mothra 2 from a speaker which help the egg grow. She later played the song again to help Baby Mothra learn the truth about Mothra Leo.
- It is unknown if versions of the Elias exist within continuity of Godzilla Island.
- The name of episode 162, "Mothra vs. Godzilla", shares its title with the 1964 film. It is unknown whether this is intentional or a coincidence.
