Z-Cardz were small toys made of thin plastic manufactured by Sega Toys in 2002. When each body part is punched out of a creature’s card, they interlock to create a 3D figure. Cards could be acquired through blister packs of five or a box containing a full set of 30, minus 5 special cards.

Godzilla cards were produced as a part of the Godzilla Toho Monsters All-Out Attack (ゴジラ 東宝怪獣総攻撃,   Gojira Tōhō Kaijū Sōkōgeki) line. Once assembled, two monsters can be placed on a flat surface which is then hit to give the illusion of movement or battling, known as “kaiju sumo”.[1]
