Trivia

• "King Ghidorah's Counterattack" is also a translation of the Japanese title of the unmade 1992 film The Return of King Ghidorah, the only difference being the lack of an exclamation point.
• King Ghidorah is one of the few Zone Fighter monsters (Not counting Godzilla) to not be killed by Zone Fighter. It is likely due to keep in continuity with rest of Showa Continuity since needs to be alive for his death in Destroy All Monsters.
