Base characters

Gorogong

Luana Island 32.3m
First Sighting: 2020 270t

The embodiment of primal rage and beastly strength. Despite its lumbering appearance, it can quickly rush down its foes in a fistful of destruction. He was thought to be just another fictional beast in Kahu'aian folklore. Back then, his tales were once used to scare children to go to bed early... However today, news of his unyielding rampage turns the bravest men pale with panic. He's infamous for his reckless behavior and untrammeled temper. We've heard stories of how his punches could send shockwaves through the earth, even small firearms simply bounced off his rocky skin... Capturing him remains nigh impossible.

Pipijuras

Unknown 36.4m
First Sighting: 1983 180t

Equipped with Pincer-like quad claws and hidden cannons specialized for medium to long-range assault. This trickster can easily overwhelm its enemies in a hail of Giga Energy-infused projectiles. Rumors say it was a runaway experiment from our R&D team at Area-51. We heard rumors that the egg-heads there were trying to make a Titan-Hunting Machine! Though it seems to be a nuisance more than a hunter. In all our encounters, it has completely wrecked out team no thanks to its versatile weaponry, it even went as far as to taunt us when we were defeated. In legal terms, it's still a property owned by the GTDI. However, recapturing it proved to be difficult. It's bout time someone brought in the big guns and bring a stop to its nonsense.

Thundatross

Tokyo 40.7m
First Launch: 2019 280t

One of the first Giga Energy-powered mech suit created by mankind. It was purpose-built by OtomaTEC to take down the toughest Titans with its unruly greatsword. On our first impression, we thought that chunky ol' blade would be too awkward to handle. But, we were quickly proven wrong when we saw it leisurely cut into Titan armor and sent them running home. Despite its brutish appearance, we think it's packed with cutting-edge technology. We have multiple reports of it conjuring lightning strikes from the sky. Our scientists say it's a result of condensing ambient Giga Energy around the sword... whatever that means. I just hope our R&D team will roll out something as powerful as that soon. For now, that Titan-Hunting mecha remains one-of-a-kind.

Woolley

Siberia 31.1m
First Sighting: 2018 120t

These fluffy giants are more commonly known as the Yetis. The R&D team is currently studying this particular one and has named it Woolley. These creatures live together in herds and prefer the colder climate due to their thick fur. They have tiny blunt claws, don't seem to hunt for food, and have on offensive capabilities we know off. Their only remarkable quality being their hyper-elastic belly. We've seen them hold their own when defending against other Titans. Most attacks seem to bounce off them in their eyes, it seems like the attack was an invitation to play. In any case, they are completely harmless to everyone. But the question still remains... How did these docile creatures manage to survive in this dangerous world of hostile Titans?

Skorak

Tarabak Island 32.1m
First Sighting: 1960 250t

The Great Devourer, the Overlord, the Tyrant Slayer, the Nightmare of Tarabak... These are the many titles associated with this cunning mollusk-like Titan. Although it has the form of an unassuming slug, it carries a massive Skull behind its back, hinting at a darker past. It is known to stalk the jungles of Tarabak island, preying on the weak to consume and devour. It's quite intelligent and capable of strategic thinking. We've seen it utilize the Skull as a sort of "chess piece" on the battlefield, often outmaneuvering and trapping its target. Gruesome as it sounds , it even has fangs hidden behind its eyes, giving it a deadly edge in close-ranged combat. We've also heard it can release some kind of poison gas in desperate situations. I suppose the best advice we can offer is... well... "Good luck, soldier."

Gigaman

Tokyo 40.2
First Debut: 1980 160t

The veteran hero returns to deliver swift justice to Titans who dare invade Japan. Although he's gone a bit out-of-shape from retirement life, he continues to be feared for his blinding speed and relentless combos. The GTDI has spent decades studying his abilities and tracking his true identity. But even to this day, nobody knows who he is. Is he actually a giant human? Or a man-shaped Titan? We do know he can talk, and he is quite the show-off. Civilians often race to film him unleash his flashy acrobatic combos. Every time it's something new and awe- inspiring, which sparks hope and a feverous pride among the locals. We were only able to extend our influence into the Japanese government after his abrupt retirement several years ago. Now that he's back, we should be prepared for policy changes. Personally. I'm just happy he's on our side.

Rohanna

Tarabak Island 45.33m
First Sighting: 1960 170t

Nature's wrath manifested as the Ancient Monarch of Tarabak. They say she blesses her loyal subjects with fruits and shelter. All they have to do is give eternal servitude to their queen. Considering the dangerous living conditions on the island, I'd say that's a pretty good trade! She is unusually calm and composed compared to the other Titans we've documented. However, she'll display her true wrath to anyone who threatens her territory. Let's hope we don't do anything rash that could provoke her. A full-scale war against her army would be a pretty bad idea.

Rawa

Tarabak Island 42.7m
First Sighting: 2009 380t

Nicknamed the "Extinction Dragon," infamous for his tendency to vaporize entire cities in a single attack. His imperious presence alone could subdue a less dominant Titan... It's as if he is some kind of a king?! Soldiers often report feeling a crippling chill down their spines after witnessing the green ghost fire that appears whenever he is nearby. At least he's rather slow-moving, which gives us a head start to prepare for his arrival. Unfortunately, nothing in our arsenal has managed to put a scratch in his armor. We've tracked him down for many years, but his elusive nature makes him a difficult study. However, throughout Southeast Asian culture, we've found numerous traditional art pieces that resembled his appearance. All the clues point to Tarabak Island as his current place of residence. It'll be a while before we have the firepower to do anything about it. (Thank God I'm only assigned to do paperwork).

Zyva

Hollow Earth 56m
First Sighting: 2020 550t

Sentient, aware, and ever-watchful... These living masses of Giga Crystal serve as the gatekeeper to the undiscovered secrets of Hollow Earth... Although they rarely come to the surface, deep-earth mining would sometimes prompt a hostile reaction from them. Their Giga Energy readings are off the charts! Their presence alone can cause malfunctions in our Giga Energy-based experimental weapons. We've seen it lift up our equipment and throw them around without even touching them! It'd be a neat magic trick if they weren't so violent about it. Though Titans are usually one-of-a-kind, we have many reported encounters with these creatures from everywhere around the world. suggesting there may be thousands of them living right below us. If mankind were to uncover the mysteries of Giga Energy and Hollow Earth... we just might have to go to war with these monsters... That said, I don't see us winning by any chance.

Kongkrete

First reported in Tokyo 34.6m
First Sighting: Unknown Unknown

A peculiar-looking building that is known to show itself wherever Giga Energy is most concentrated... Some of us think it's alive! But to consider this 'building monster' as a Titan feels strange and uneasy, and we cannot verify if there is one or more of them at this time... One of our scientist named it 'Kongkrete' as a joke... It stuck, and now this term is used to categorize all seemingly sentient buildings. We've also noticed this exact building in the background of all of our Gigaman battle recordings... It's as if it was watching him intently... What are its goals, and how do they relate to the Veteran Hero? We usually find it idling in the middle if densely populated districts, acting just like any building with people walking in and out of it... We can't risk doing anything rash that might provoke it. I guess we'll continue to observe for now...

Godzilla DLC

Gigan

As Seen In: Godzilla vs. Gigan
Japan Release: 1972.3.12

Gigan is a cyborg kaiju sent by the aliens of M Nebula who were aiming to conquer Earth. It is controlled from the Godzilla Tower found in the amusement park built and operated by the M Nebula aliens. Its most notable feature is a bone-like bladed buzz saw located in its abdomen.

Godzilla

As Seen In: Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
Japan Release: 1995.12.9

Almost 70 years after the first Godzilla, a new incarnation of the monster arrives to threaten mankind's existence. As Godzilla's look changes according to each era, its new look in Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989) features a smaller and more predatory-looking head with a sleeker and more powerful body. By the end of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995), Godzilla won a deadly battle against Destoroyah. However, the costly victory caused Godzilla's energy level to become so overloaded that Godzilla finally melted down and perished in the smoke.

Mechagodzilla

As Seen In: Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla
Japan Release: 2002.12.14

Mechagodzilla has a new origin story along with different abilities in each new film. However, all incarnations are created in the hopes of being the ultimate weapon to use against Godzilla.

In this incarnation, nicknamed Kiryu, an anti-Godzilla weapon created by the Japanese government by using the DNA from the skeleton of the original Godzilla. Every part of its body functions as a weapon, posing a real threat to any and all of its foes.

Destoroyah

As Seen In: Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
Japan Release: 1995.12.9

Godzilla's final opponent in the Heisei series, Destoroyah is the incarnation of the Oxygen Destroyer, the chemical weapon used to kill the original Godzilla in 1954. When the weapon was detonated at the bottom of Tokyo Bay, it revived a colony of Precambrian crustaceans trapped in the strata, and the resulting anaerobic conditions caused the creatures to undergo an abnormal path of mutation and evolution until they finally came to the surface in 1996. Able to grow and evolve by combining with each other, the creatures took on numerous different forms before finally converging into a single gigantic demonic monster. Destoroyah fought Godzilla at the peak of his power and nearly defeated him, but was finally destroyed by a combination of the JSDF's ULT cryolasers and the extreme heat given off by the near-meltdown Godzilla.

Ultraman Tiga

Origin: Unknown

Tiga's greatest characteristic is his ability to Type Change between "Multi Type". "Power Type" and "Sky Type", allowing him to quickly adapt his fighting style on the battlefield. 30 million years ago, Tiga came to Earth from a nebula far away as one of the Giants of Light. He and his race of Ultra Warriors fought to protect the Ultra-Ancient civilization from monsters and other dark forces. With their deeds done, The Ultra Warriors created the Pyramid of Light in the Land of Tiga and remained there, waiting to be called upon again. At the beginning of the 21st century, two huge monsters invaded this golden pyramid. Even the advanced weaponry of the Global Unlimited Task Squad (GUTS), who were investigating the area, couldn't stop them. However, Daigo Madoka, GUTS Team's most daring young member, merged with the last remaining stature of one of the Ancient Ultra Warriors. Thus, Ultraman Tiga is awakened! Since Daigo is a human and light, Ultraman Tiga not only faces off against threatening monsters but is also an Ultra who moves forward together with humanity.

Camearra

She was later awoken by accident during an archaeological expedition in the 21st century. Now she seeks out her former lover, intending to lure him back to the ruined city of R'lyeh and turn him back into Tiga Dark.

Godzilla: Nemesis DLC

King Ghidorah

As Seen In: Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
Japan Release: 1991.12.14

King Ghidorah, also known as Monster Zero, has brought terror to Earth from the depths of space with its fearsome three heads. It first appeared in "Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964)". Each of its colossal horned heads have the ability to blast destructive lightning bolt-like Gravity Beams, capable of tearing through entire skyscrapers. Its massive supersonic wings can create powerful shockwaves with each flap while giving it the ability to fly. Whenever the King of the Monsters confronts King Ghidorah, it leads to an epic clash, often with Godzilla receiving aid from other Earth kaijus. Even former adversaries have been known to ally with Godzilla out of sheer survival instinct, highlighting the immense threat posed by this three-headed behemoth.

Hedorah

As Seen In: Godzilla vs. Hedorah
Japan Release: 1971.7.24

As humankind poisons Earth with industrial waste, a dangerous threat arises. Hedorah, also known as the Smog Monster, is an alien life form made of extraterrestrial minerals deposited on Earth via a passing comet. When exposed to pollution, the minerals came alive as an acidic sludge. This toxic kaiju developed through several stages: starting from an Initial Stage resembling an abnormally large tadpole, a gargantuan Aquatic Stage, a Landing Form where Hedorah could crawl, a Flying Stage that sprays clouds of sulfuric acid mist, and a final Perfect Stage that stands taller than Godzilla and can match the King of the Monsters blow for blow. In this final form, it can spit Acidic Sludge, throw mud balls at its enemy, and even shoot a Hedrium Ray from one of its eyes. It can also revert to its Flying Stage at will, allowing it to escape attacks with surprising agility. Few foes have ever proved as challenging for Godzilla and humankind as Hedorah, and the horrific kaiju continues to remind us of the catastrophic cost of industrial irresponsibility.

Mighty DLC

R.O.J.A.K.

???
2021

Robot Of Justice Against Kaijus, or R.O.J.A.K. for short, is the world's last squad of Mighty Warriors on a mission to defeat the ferocious menace known as Balzarr. Back in 2020, when Thundatross made its debut, nations worldwide drooled at the notion of having their own Titan-destroying mech to protect their lands. Thus, they pooled their resources to form an international weapons development pact known as the Aegis Program. The goal is to develop a variety of specialized battle mechs known as Aegis that can combine together via the Universal Adaptor System to form... a Super Aegis! Its only weakness is the Mighty Warriors' personal and cultural differences. With 5 brains controlling 1 body, will this ragtag team of survivors, outcasts, leftovers, and one celebrity work in unison and stand as mankind's last line of defense against Balzarr's unstoppable onslaught?

Balzarr

???
2021

'When thou wish upon a shooting star, Beware, lest it be the Demon Star. For when its fiery trail crosses thy sight, Doom shall follow with darkest might.' So goes the ancient tale of a godly creature who visited our planet one fateful day. This outworldly invader is adorned with shiny golden armor was it polished by the stardust of the night. It darts and lips around the battlefield with such agility that even most advanced targeting systems couldn't keep up. Heck, its long-bladed tails even said to cleave mountains!!! Well, that last part might be. a bit of an exaggeration, but our troops on the ground can certainly attest to its ferocity. Our research team has pinpointed its main target to be areas with lots of Giga Crystals. This means every Giga Crystal Storage facility on Earth is at risk of an attack so nations worldwide have already deployed their newly developed Aegis squads to prepare for its imminent arrival.

Ultraman: Rising DLC

MechaJURAS Free DLC

MechaJURAS

???
-

Developed by our top minds here at Global Titan Defense Initiative (G.T.D.I.) and modeled after the Pipijuras Titan, the MechaJURAS mech is an unparalleled Titan deterrent. Although its rudimentary features may not compare to OtomaTEC's fancy high-tech Thundatross mech suit, watching it decimate our dummy Titans during the combat trials has demonstrated Doctor Adler's unparalleled genius! Outfitted with a destructive Rocket Drill and Grapple Claw alongside an arsenal of devastating armaments. MechaJURAS is the pinnacle of our struggles and hard work. As I look upon it in the hangar now after its upgrades and tinkerings from the R&D team from the past year, especially after all those failed prototypes. I... I have no doubt that MechaJURAS will serve as a gleaming bastion of mankind against all Titan attacks! MechaJURAS is finally ready to roll out!

Final Ascension DLC

Gaya Gigaman

Earth
2021

The one the only Champion of Justice, reborn in the searing fire to deliver swift justice. In the wake of the Demon Star Incident, the GTDI was left reeling from Balzarr's attack on our Giga Energy facilities. As a result, we were unable to respond to the Ascension Event, having been stretched thin protecting cities all over the world from the resulting pandemonium. Gigaman, Thundatross, and the only remaining Super Aegis team R.O.J.A.K. were sent to intercept Rawa and Balzarr before their fusion. We are not certain what actually occurred as footage is scarce and reports are messy, but it seemed that Gigaman managed to change into a new, more powerful form in order to defeat the Ascended Titan. At least, that's the working theory. Gigaman vanished after the battle was over, and no trace of him can be found anywhere. It's unsure if he'll return once again, or if he's... Well, personally. I'm just happy to have known him.

Zargorah

???
N/A

The catastrophic fusion of Rawa and Balzarr... it's nothing short of chaos incarnate. I can't help but use such emotionally-charged language to describe this Titan...! Rawa's roar cause Titans all over the world to fight each other, and Balzarr follows in his wake, gathering up Giga Energy from the weary victors. Is this an indicator of some malicious intelligence we overlooked?! Did they have a plan from the beginning, or were they just operating on instinct?!?! Whatever the case, the resulting combination is nothing short of terrifying. Armor, speed, damage potential--there's no way our conventional weapons and countermeasures can keep up with him. His connection to the Giga Core is the most dangerous aspect with him. If he managed to absorb the Core... that would be the end of all things. We can only hope he doesn't return in the future, but if he does, it's clear we have a long way to go in terms of our defenses.

Locations

Palekana Port

Location: Kahu'a Republic
Alert: Heavy Storm Clouds detected

This industrial port serves as the critical juncture for everything entering and leaving the Kahu'a Republic. It began as a tiny fishing village with a population of about 30. In recent years, essential basic infrastructure such as a shipyard, running water, electricity, and various office buildings were swiftly constructed thanks to foreign investments. The rapid modernization had completely transformed this primitive island into a modern transport hub for both tourists and commercial cargo.

However, efforts to establish air travel have proven to be... complicated. Although the nation has remained relatively free from the Titan invasions, strong crosswinds and storm clouds have plagued this area. Despite many alarming weather forecasts, nothing life-threatening has yet come to fruition. The nation will have to depend on sea transport for the time being.

Luana Island

Location: Kahu'a Republic
Alert: Volcano Eruption Imminent

Luana Island is the renowned capital city of Kahu'a Republic. The archipelago nation is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The surrounding ocean and fertile forest provided ample nourishment for its people, allowing them to remain isolated here for centuries.

The island was only discovered by the outside world around 1940. Its golden beach and emerald waters proved to be irresistible. Soon, tourist agencies flocked to the island and opened up ferry routes. This ushered in an economic boom and propelled the primitive natives to the modern age. Today, this paradise is overcrowded with luxury hotels, swimming pools, and... American burger joints?!

We were surprised to learn the natives here had never been invaded by Titans before. However, there's this local folklore about a mythical beast named Gorogong. Legend says it sleeps soundly inside the volcano at the center of the island. We did detect faint traces of Giga Energy coming from its crater. I'm planning to spend my Christmas holiday here this year. If the legends are true... I can only hope our R&D team doesn't get too curious and ruin my vacation!

Mount Gorogong

Location: Kahu'a Republic
Warning: Exposure to High Temperature may cause Burning

A dormant volcano sleeping in the middle of Luana Island. It is believed to be the resting place of a mythical beast named Gorogong. After the 1st Titan Crisis, the tale of Gorogong became viral and spread all over the world. It eventually caught the attention of the eggheads from out R&D department. All it took was one curious fellow to point his Giga Energy detector at the volcano.

Before long, the entire research commission flooded onto the island and surrounded the crater of the volcano. They began drilling through the thick layers of cooled lava. What greeted them was a towering monster, its body fuming with hot lava, its eyes consumed by pure rage... the rest was history.

The dormant volcano erupted and the unstoppable beast unleashes all its rage on the island inhabitants. Today, high amounts of Giga Energy continue to leak from the lava pool. Some researchers speculate this could be a reliable source for harvesting Giga Energy in the future... that is after we sedate or pacify Gorogong's endless rampage... if at all possible...

Kimura District

Location: Japan
Notice: Famous Spicy Soba located at 5 Chrome-06-38

Kimura District shines as one of the many bustling urban areas in Tokyo, Japan. This is thanks to Gigaman's 30 years of service as Japan's main defender against the Titans. The country prospered under these safe conditions, giving rise to rapid urbanization and transforming the entire country into an economic powerhouse.

However, after Gigaman's abrupt retirement in 2012, Japan resorted to signing multiple defensive pacts with the GTDI as their main partner. With deeper roots in the political system, we were able to secure much-needed funding to further their research in Anti-Titan Weaponry. Although the public continues to criticize our efforts as a form of military coercion, our hard work here will ultimately aid humanity in the long run.

GGN Tower

Location: Japan
Caution: High Population Density Area

GGN Tower, the architectural centerpiece of Tsukikogawa District in Tokyo, Japan. It's a miracle how this steel colossus managed to survive until today. It completed construction in the 1970s and became synonymous with the timing of the first Titan Crisis. Although it was originally designed to resist earthquakes and strong winds, it's proven itself more than capable of handling a few bruises from invading Titans.

In its glory days, it served as the nation's central broadcasting station for dispatching emergency information to the masses. In times of peace, it offered entertainment radio to the entire city. But with the advent of the internet era, it now only stands as a tourist landmark, serving as the symbol of humanity's ability to thrive in the midst of chaos.

Today, it sits peacefully next to the shimmering Tsukiko river, surrounded by a forest of shopping malls, office buildings, and high-end restaurants. Everything blends together to make this place a haven for nighttime urban photography.

City Ruins

Location: Tarabak Island
Alert: Hidden Treasure detected

An enigmatic island that is infested with Titans and lost history. Everyone thought it was just a fictional setting featured in the book "The Lost World of Tarabak" by Petyr Faust.

Everything changed when humanity was hit by the First Titan Crisis. Someone from our R&D team was mad enough to take the book seriously. We eventually found the island floating in the middle of the South China Sea, completely undetectable by any of our satellites. The team later realized the book was actually miscategorized. The content was too radical in the pre-Titan era that it had been labeled as fiction when it is actually the first factual documentation of the existence of Titans.

We've already sent in numerous research expeditions to break the ice, however not many made it out unscathed. They manage to discover an ancient city ruin sleeping within these thick jungles. Each building was made from a blend of stone and gold, some with a specific lizard-head motif that seemed to appear everywhere in this vast city. Were they worshipping a Titan as their deity?

One team discovered narrow canals that run all over the city. Each has faint traces of Giga Energy at its base. We think these ancient people possessed a certain mastery over the mysterious substance. The team also noted all of their temples have a hallway that leads underground. Yet all their entrances were purposely sealed or destroyed. It seems like they were intentionally hiding something from the world before their civilization disappeared...

Dragon's Crossing

Location: Tarabak Island
Warning: Flash Flooding imminent

Also known as the longest river that runs through Tarabak island. Both sides of the river are populated with stone buildings, as seen in the central city complex. The ancients must have used it as their main water source. Geological analysis reports fertile soil deposits throughout the area, suggesting flood was a common occurrence here, perhaps even farming?

The team found newly built straw huts with some refugees inside. They warned the team against going too far west of the river. A supposed "Queen" has claimed that area as her territory. We have noted it as something to investigate in our future expedition.

Following the river upstream, the expedition team found a massive manmade dam. It looks like it was constructed with the same building material and lizard motifs as seen in the central city complex. We infer this damn was likely built to control the flooding to open up more space for the city to expand. The question still remains... how in the world did these ancient people acquire the technology to construct it?

Forsaken Temple

Location: Tarabak Island
Caution: Designated World Wonder: Please Minimize Collateral Damage

Heading upstream past the dam at Dragon's Crossing, the team arrived at a mountainous area flooded with clear spring water. A massive temple complex rests peacefully amid this tranquil scenery. It seems the ancients have done the impossible feat of constructing a building in the middle of a rushing waterfall. It's hard to imagine the mad devotion required to overcome the risk of drowning just to engineer something like this.

It seemed abandoned when the team first discovered it. There was some evidence of recent inhabitance. They found warm ash and dirty pots with some leftover yet to rot. Whoever these belong to must have left in a hurry. The team also noticed statues and carvings that resemble the ones in the main city. But all of them seem to be intentionally destroyed and replaced with a peculiar wooden mask that featured 4 protruding yellow eyes. Seems like someone was not happy with the original lizard-head design. Perhaps this could be a clue to what devastated this civilization... civil war...

Dig Site

Location: Siberia
Alert: Heavy Industrial Equipment in use

No codename, no alias. This anonymous dig site began as just another oil mine in the middle of nowhere in Siberia. Today, it seems like it's been repurposed for something else... The Russian administration has not been transparent with us and entrance remains strictly prohibited.

We heard that absurdly concentrated Giga Energy has been detected inside one of the factories. We've sent a drone to do a fly-by and snapped an overhead photo of what's going on beyond the fences. It seems they are boring a hole straight down into the Earth. They even brought one of those giant German excavators for the job. We see cargo trucks lined up and ready to transport the excavated soil. The soil must be saturated with Giga Energy too... One can only wonder, what are these pesky Russians up to now?

Slavagrad

Location: Siberia
Caution: Suspected Missile Launch Site in area

Also known as the City of Glory and the world's largest oil refinement factory. It was purpose-built by the government to boost the nation's economy. The tundra landscape here is rich in coal, petroleum, and natural gas. Thanks to the constant rise of global oil demand, it quickly transformed this frigid wasteland into a "gold mine."

Many similar industrial towns sprang out everywhere in Siberia to harvest these valuable resources. Unfortunately, conventional pipelines transporting oil were too difficult to construct in these rough terrain. This is why every drop of oil across the region is shipped by road to Slavagrad.

The massive processing plants here have kept the local populace relatively well-fed with hard labor. Many experts claim the air pollution index here is borderline cancerous. However, the government claims that life here is far simpler compared to any capitalist society. They even carved a giant bronze statue to symbolize the pride the locals should have in their toil. As their Premier says: "There is work, more work, and the glory of the nation! No need for one to be worried about trivial matters such as his own health and wellbeing." That's a bit much, even for GTDI standards.

Airforce Base

Location: Area-51
Warning: Militarized Zone; Trespassers will be shot

Nevada's steep canyons ensure the absolute secrecy of AREA-51, but it also made it difficult to access. One of the few ways to gain entry is by air. This airport began as the only connection between the outside world and AREA-51. Everything has to pass through this checkpoint. These include top-secret personnel, classified documents, and various experimental technology.

The barebone runway soon expanded into the full-scale Airforce Base of today. The premise is highly guarded with fighter jets patrolling the area, armed soldiers, tanks, and even mobile artillery.

We've had a few incidents of civilian drones snapping photos of the facility and leaking them to the public. For the safety of mankind, those responsible have been swiftly dealt with. Unfortunately, the public continues to accuse us of exercising military power to coerce the freedom of the nation. The GTDI Council has already assured the public that global security will always be our main priority. Therefore, all GTDI personnel is required to disregard such slanderous rumors.

Research Lab

Alert: Sandstorm imminent

AREA-51 is the GTDI's Special Research and Development Headquarters. They shroud themselves within the dusty canyons of the Nevada desert. It was founded in 1983 by Dr. Heinz Ludwig to create the unsanctioned platform for developing new weapons and technology to fight the Titan Crisis. Legislation and ethical practices can only slow scientific progress. The 'nobility' of this initiative attracted the attention of many scientific eccentrics from around the world.

With the US administration cooperating and protecting them through secrecy, they managed to make numerous great leaps in their work. These included the new Rapid-Deployment Energy Barriers, the LAAV (Laser Artillery Assault Vehicle), and the MechaJURAS.

They also have been involved in numerous conspiracies involving bribery and extraterrestrial life. The locals have yet to secure any substantial evidence to demand a hearing from government officials. The GTDI Council has already publicly assured the people that global security will always be our main priority. Therefore, all GTDI personnel is required to remain vigilant and disregard such slanderous rumors.

Power Station

Location: Area-51
Warning: Potential Shock Hazard

For the past decade, harnessing Giga Energy's power has been a hot topic within the global science community. The only successful prototype being the Gigatron Reactor created by OtomaTEC, but they remain reluctant to share their findings. Our Covert Intelligence Team managed to acquire an earlier version of the blueprint. This experimental Power Station was built specifically to test the theory proposed in that design.

The specifics remain confidential, but we can only disclose it used Giga Crystals as a source of Giga Energy. It is then passed through the central processing plant and transformed into conventional electrical energy. Multiple tests proved the process to be too volatile. We've had numerous reports of malfunctions, sometimes even frying every piece of electronic equipment in the facility.

It's a truly hazardous work environment. All personnel assigned to work here are required to always wear their anti-static suit when entering the area and unsubscribe from our life insurance plan until the end of their term.

Lake Lavina

Location: Siberia
Alert: Snowline at Critical Level; Exposure to Cold may cause Frostbite

For centuries, Lake Lavina had remained a frugal fishing village surrounded by the glacial mountains of Siberia. However, with political policies pushing for rapid urbanization throughout Siberia, various infrastructures and apartments were built to spark economic growth.

Unfortunately, the location of the town was too remote to continue expansion. It also lacked any valuable resources to support the plan. The frozen lake can barely provide enough subsistence for the local populace, not to mention the constant threat of an avalanche. In the end, the government attention was shifted elsewhere, and the town was left unattended.

The serene yet borderline fatal mountain ranges eventually captured the imagination of daredevils worldwide. The only sustainable business is the old ski resort and poorly maintained cable car stations throughout the mountain area. Perhaps the tourism industry will help make the miserable living conditions here more bearable.

Holopolis

Location: Hollow Earth
Caution: Regenerative Structures detected

Drone #0083

We're under attack!! Those Crystalline- Titans took down most of our drones. Those creatures seem to operate in unison and do not attack each other. It seems this drone has traveled 300km away from the Crystal Cave area. We now see a massive complex of tetragonal and cubical structures erected neatly everywhere. The view simply defies all scientific wisdom. Each has purple glowing rings eating into the surface, likely a form of erosion caused by long-term exposure to Giga Energy. A quick analysis determines these structures have sulfur, lead, and hydrogen atoms bonded together by an unknown substance. We hypothesize that Giga Energy has drastically changed the natural chemical properties of these elements.

Traveling further into the region, we found a giant spherical object in the center of all these rectangular buildings. It seems to manipulate the Giga Energy in its surrounding, almost like draining and storing it in itself. Does an object of such nature have a purpose in this environment? How was it created in the first place? It shows that the deeper we go, the more questions we find... A humbling reminder of how little we understand the world we live in.

Crystal Cave

Location: Hollow Earth
Alert: Falling Stalactites detected

Drone #0079

These OtomaTEC long-range surveillance drones have proven to be incredibly resilient to high temperatures. Once we've passed the Earth's lower mantle, the surrounding temperature dropped considerably. It's as if the ceiling has completely insulated the heat from the earth's magma. We believe we have entered the mythical land of Hollow Earth.

We observe purple speleothem populating the area, each dangerously irradiated with Giga Energy. These strange rock formations light up the area with an ominous purple glow. A quick field test shows they are a mixture of various minerals, groundwater, and an unidentified substance (likely the source of Giga Energy). These must be the complete physical form of Giga Crystals that we usually find on the surface.

When their stalactite form grows too heavy, they will break off from the ceiling. The resulting kinetic energy when it hits the ground sets off a chain reaction that violently ripples out Giga Crystals in a large area around it. This can prove to be a hazard when conducting future experiments down here. We'll continue to send the other drones further into the depths. Hopefully, we'll find the theoretical "Giga Core" soon.

Giga Core

Location: Hollow Earth
Warning: Giga Energy levels highly unstable

Drone #0087

It seems the deeper we go, the more Crystalline Titans we encounter. This is the last surviving drone for this expedition. They must be guarding some giant treasure in these depths.

We continue to find the same tetragonal structures present here. However, this time, they seem to be arranged differently... as if it was encircling a center point... wait... There it is! We finally found it!!! The source of all Giga Energy, the Giga Core!

Once every few minutes, one of those Crystal Titans will stand in front of the Core and perform some sort of ritual. The Core will then levitate mid-air to reveal its full spherical form. This is followed by an immense torrent of Giga Energy radiating from the Core, enough to completely evaporate this drone into dust.

Yeti Sanctuary

Location: Siberia
Caution: Suspected Missile Launch Site in the area

The Abominable Snowman, Bigfoot, Sasquatch... there are many legends of hairy bipedal giants in every culture around the world. The one we have formally documented so far is the Yeti. We have found one of their nesting ground in Siberia. These treacherous mountains and freezing climate keep potential predators (and humans) away, assuring a safe haven for their species to thrive. We've sent a few scout drones into the area... It seems our operators got caught up with taking way too many pictures of the Yetis playing in the snow.

This location was first discovered by Dr. John Lorenz from out Titan Research department. From his reports, they originated from the Himalayas and gradually migrated to Siberia. Despite their size, they are actually harmless to humans. We must still exercise caution when approaching these creatures. Let's not put our troops at risk of becoming play-toys for these creatures. However, we did detect Giga Energy infused in the water and soil of this area. Perhaps it's another reason why they choose to remain here?

OtomaTEC HQ

Location: Japan
Caution: OtamaTEC have powerful lawyers; Stay clear of their building

This iconic skyscraper stands as the tallest building in the northern corner of Kimura District. It serves as the headquarters of OtamaTEC Industries. On the civilian side, they are known for manufacturing high-quality household electronics and computer components. But their main line of business is in Giga Energy research and Anti-Titan weapons development. These include multiple collaborations with the GTDI in designing the Titan Containment Energy Barriers.

This mega-corporation began as a startup in 1991 by a young entrepreneur/scientific genius, Dr. Otoma Kazuo. He and his team of scientists set out to uncover the secrets behind the newly discovered Giga Energy. The startup was founded on the idea of the Gigatron Reactor. He claimed it has the potential to finally turn the tide against Titan invasions. It is essentially a battery unit powered by Giga Energy, capable of transforming the average soldier into a super fortress of power.

It's been a few decades since he made that claim, yet the corporation remains reluctant to share any more information with us. We only know it's called the Tactical Reactor-Operated Security System, or Project T.R.O.S.S. in short.

Yefan City

Location: China

One of the most fortunately located cities in Asia, Yefan City has been spared the worst of the past 30 years of Titan activity. Thanks to its relative safety, the city was able to flourish as a hotspot of tourism and industry. One of its major selling points is the juxtaposition between archaic and modern architecture along the banks of the river. The Yefan Eye, a gigantic ferris wheel situated over said river, is the dazzling centerpiece of the city, itself a marvel of engineering and a testament to the city's prosperity.

Yefan City used to be a low-risk Titan incursion area, owing to its remoteness from the Pacific Ring of Fire. Most Titans in close enough proximity to the city would either be intercepted by GTDI elements in neighbouring cities or by Gigaman before they could inflict serious damage. However, as Titan activity continued to worsen and attacks occur in more and more places, the city is now considered to be at intermediate risk. Ever since Titan A-016 "Balzarr" wiped out the Chinese Super Aegis teams, we simply do not have enough resources to adequately defend Yefan City from potential incursions. Hopefully the MechaJURAS program can settle that issue once and for all.

Fractured Earth

Location: Siberia

Log number... eight?

Hey, this thing on?

Great. Camera's busted. Guess this is an audio log now.

So. Audio log number one. Ground zero. The site of the Ascension. You can't see it, but you know what it looks like. A lot of purple rocks. Sky's still burning from excess Giga Energy that never got re-absorbed. Seriously, you can't walk two steps without tripping over some kind of crystallized Giga Energy formation. Not to mention the jagged edges of the ground that popped open like a... a pimple? Sorry, that was gross.

I'm supposed to log how the cleaning operation is going but it's a little hard to do that with no video. It's going okay. Still a lot of purple rocks. I don't think anything's going to grow here again. The Ascension did something to the earth here, changed something fundamental. The researchers say the environment around here must reflect wherever Zargorah came from, some kind of Titan homeworld. Our trees don't grow there, so they don't grow here either.

Still can't believe this used to be tundra. Siberia. Doesn't even look like the same planet anymore, but I guess that's the point. I wonder why Zargorah would change the planet to look like this if he's supposedly about to destroy it. Maybe it's subconscious? Or maybe it's just what Giga Energy does when there's too much of it. Kind of like Hollow Earth in that sense. In any case, I'm not getting paid to make theories.

Next time I'll get the camera fixed first. Site Foreman Holloway signing off.

End log.
