Bakugon (バクゴン Bakugon) is a Terror-Beast kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in episode 23 of the 1973 tokusatsu kaiju series, Zone Fighter titled Secret of the Great Terror-Beast Bakugon.
Name
Bakugon's name is derived from the baku, a mythological tapir-like creature from Japan which the monster was based on.
