[[Godzilla Junior|Little]] accidentally exposes him to sunlight while digging, and he dramatically emerges. When Little asks if they can train together and shakes his claw, Gigan throws him off, which he again assumes marks the start of the training. Gigan believes he doesn't need to get stronger, though Little points out how easily [[Godzilla-kun]] defeated him and suggests his willpower is lacking, emotionally devastating him. To train Gigan's endurance, Little introduces him to a special technique: tickling him with a feather duster. The cyborg struggles to remain still in the face of this assault as Grandpa Hedo and Young Hedo look on. Gigan finally kicks Little away, who declares that he has lost and invites Gigan to tickle him back. Gigan tries, but to no effect. Little renews tickling him and [[Godzilla-kun]] arrives on the scene just in time to watch Gigan smack his younger brother.
