"Uncle Zilla" (シン・オジ － 親戚のオジさんゴジラ, Shin Oji - Shinseki no Ojisan Gojira, lit. "Shin Oji: The Uncle Godzilla") is the 11th episode of the second season of Godziban, as well as the 32nd episode overall and the 18th installment of its Go! Go! Godzilla-kun! segment. Toho's Godzilla Channel uploaded it to YouTube on July 24, 2020, with an English-subtitled version on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO channel following on April 9, 2022.
Plot
After failing to climb a coconut tree, Minilla uses his tail to knock one of the fruits loose. Gabara arrives on the scene and takes the coconut from Minilla. Minilla tries to fight back with his smoke rings, but they do nothing to the bully monster and he proceeds to throw Minilla and electroshock him. As Gabara asks Minilla to surrender, a giant tail sweeps through the sky above his head, before the rest of the monster is revealed. Minilla casually introduces him as his Uncle Zilla and Gabara falls backwards in fear. As Gabara tries to run away, he stumbles into Kamachi and Uncle Zilla's tail face (named Tail), disgusting him further before he's finally able to retreat into the jungle. Minilla greets Kamachi and Little arrives shortly afterwards, leading to the two Godzilla brothers playing with Tail. As sunset arrives, Godzilla-kun joins his brothers and Kamachi and the four play on top of Uncle Zilla. As the Three Godzilla Brothers and Uncle Zilla shoot their beam weapons into the sky, Grandpa Hedo and Young Hedo watch the light show from a distance. Young Hedo comments that Godzillas must shoot their heat rays when they're happy, while Grandpa Hedo hopes that their rays of heat never turn into rays of hate.
The episode concludes with a brief animated scene showing Miyarabi flirting with Godzilla-kun as his brothers look on with approval and Young Caesar looks on with despair.
