Plot

As Gigan again laments that his quest to prove himself the Strongest Monster in the Universe in battle against the Godzilla Clan remains unfulfilled with Little's pestering, Little arrives with another training challenge. This time, he has brought all of his previous torture implements including the feather toy, the hot frying pan, the popsicle, and a new one in the form of a stick of stinging chestnut burrs. As Little brings all four together to test Gigan's willpower against multiple factors, Grandpa Hedo and Young Hedo watch from a distance, with Grandpa Hedo commenting that Gigan will soon come to an awakening of his true self. Gigan soon ends up freezing in place, with Little noting his breakthrough and going off to grab other things to train with. However, the Dorats arrive, deciding to help their fellow villain kaiju and take the opportunity to get rid of Little and take over his spot as Godziban's cute character. They fuse into King Ghidorah and proceed to attack Little, who calls for help, though Godzilla-kun and Minilla are too distracted with their baked potato lunch to hear him. Gigan ends up stepping up to save the day and challenges King Ghidorah, declaring that only he is allowed to defeat the Godzillas. Though greatly overwhelmed by King Ghidorah's gravity beams and physical strength, Gigan defiantly stands insistent that he is a strong monster, only to finally be knocked down, with the light fading from his visor. As King Ghidorah moves towards Little, Godzilla-kun finally arrives, grabbing the three headed dragon by the tails and splitting him back into the Dorats, who retreat back to the future. As Little tearfully tries to wake up his friend, he cries out "Gigan, rise", which ultimately ends up reviving him. As Gigan tries to act humble about saving Little, Little ends up bluntly pointing out he needs more training. Godzilla-kun, having grown to respect Gigan, tells him that if he trains hard, he'll accept another duel. Little is excited to continue the training program right away, but Gigan thinks Little's merciless and falls over, with Little turning towards the camera and replying, "You think so?"
