Plot
Godzilla-kun, Little, and Minilla practice their punches. Minilla ends his training early to help Radon practice flying. He maintains lift for a few seconds, then plummets to the ground. After comforting him, Minilla carries him back to the Godzilla Brothers' house, where he feeds him a Meganulon berry. Talking to his brothers, Minilla resolves to try again tomorrow, but he and Radon are interrupted by the Dorats, one again eying Radon as a meal. Minilla encourages Radon to defeat them like he did in their last encounter, but the hatchling is too frightened, forcing Minilla to shield him from their lightning. Suddenly, an adult Rodan swoops in to tackle the Dorats, who beat a hasty retreat. He explains to the Godzilla Brothers that he's been searching for the hatchling, his younger brother, to take him to Mount Aso, where the hot springs help strengthen a young Rodan's wings for flight. Though they are of the same species, Radon chooses to stay with Minilla, who asserts that he can still train Radon to fly, though Rodan is concerned about Minilla's ability to protect his younger sibling and the dangers of trying to get Radon to try before his wings are strong enough. That night, a regretful Minilla leaves home for a trek into the misty wastes, knowing that Radon will follow him. He practices his punches again and tells Radon he can't take care of him anymore as Rodan arrives and convinces Radon to leave with him. His back turned to them, tears well in Minilla's eyes.
The episode concludes with a Grandpa Hedo segment:
- Young Hedo: “Hey, Grandpa Hedo. Will we have to say goodbye to each other someday?”
- Grandpa Hedo: “By then, you will be answering someone's questions just like I am now.”
- Young Hedo: “Okie Hedokie!”
