List of King Kong series

This is a list of all episodic series in the King Kong franchise. There have been four animated TV/streaming shows centered around Kong, with a live-action series in development. There have also been two web series related to Kong, one a video diary made by Peter Jackson during the production and post-production of the 2005 film King Kong and the other a pseudo-documentary about a camera crew exploring Skull Island. Additionally, Kong made a cameo at the end of the first season of the Monsterverse streaming series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and went on to appear in several episodes of the second season.

  1. ↑ The series' announcement promised 12 episodes preceded by a "feature film".[1] Netflix lists the season with 13 episodes, the first of which is feature-length.[2] When 41 Entertainment uploaded the series to YouTube, this episode was split into four, for a 16-episode season.[3] The company officially advertises the series as being 26 episodes in total (16 for the first season),[4] but also separately advertises the feature-length episode as a "film".[5]
